That's an emphasiz of the strong bonds that will hopefully remain between me and my daughter, a show of support. I have after all been there for her all her life and I intend to be there for her on that day too.
The church? I wouldn't give a hoot about what some priest would have to say about that.
I agree with you Muhler. My Papa has seen me through so much, been there for everything. That will be a special moment for me and for him. One of the few things that a father and daughter will share alone.

They weren't on the deck, but probably inside as I did see them leaving the boat.

what a strange explanation..if the dress code is tiara and sashes for royals, you have to adhere to the protocol..so far, charlene is the only consort there without any..she looks like a regular guest, wife of a rich guy.

I am not a fan of babies, even princess babies, at weddings. Personal taste I know, since I also do not like them on airplanes or department stores or grocery stores. The TV cameras spent much to much time focussing on Estelle and not on the wedding and adult guests.
Lovely ceremony, but gotta agree with you about the music. Not to my taste, but if they like it, who am I to complain?

Estelle was adorable, couldn't help but smile at her. She's Madde's neice, weddings are for family and friends and Estelle made it more memorable in a good way for me. I was laughing at Victoria trying not to laugh at Estelle when she was reading! I thought it was adorable!

The official photos can be downloaded here, I don't like them, they are too dark and at the group photo princess Birgitta is watching away

I noticed Chris O'Neill crossed himself at one point; he must be a Catholic.
Was it an ecumenical service?

Yes, he's a catholic (although lutherans also cross themselves in some church traditions).

No, it wasn't an ecumenical service, so the marriage isn't void in the eyes of the catholic church. But I don't think he cares, as far as I know he's not a practising catholic.

I agree. Too dark, and not the best overall. But both Chris and Madeleine look beautiful and in love, that's a good thing :)

Someone asked on Aftonbladet and it was confirmed that unfortunately the speeches won't be released for the public read. I remember that they did for one royal wedding least I think they did. Do they usually release any official photos from the reception? I know the BRF commonly don't but how bout everyone else?

I have to say I really feel for Princess Charlene. It must be so awkard to attend such an event without your husband...no wonder she seems lost at times. But she looked beautiful and elegant as ever. However, I would have loved to have seen her in a tiara at last, or at least with some jewellery!

The new couple looked radiant, the bride beautiful and the groom handsome. I too was surprised by the emotion and joy shown by Chris, since he was mostly unsmiling in earlier pictures. But today he was clearly very happy to be marrying his princess!

I think we've been cloned -I agree with every

Not impressed by the official pix but at least I've finally seen the bride's attendants. To be honest - and I know this will get some people - if the baby Estelle hadn't been there, then the young attendants would probably have got more attention (everyone likes children at a wedding). First time I've seen this happen. Just no pix of the children actually involved in the service.

The photos won't get large enough to see them:(

They didn't show the bridal attendants very much in Victoria's wedding either, but then the church was different and the bride's entrance was shown better (it was longer) and then the children were more seen.
