Princess Birgitta in the 4-Button Tiara
Steven, thank you so much for posting these photos. I knew I had seen a photo of Princess Birgitta wearing the 4-button tiara but did not know where.
The photo I remember had her face turned more toward the camera and I believe all four of the buttons were showing. I don't know if you or anyone else has this one or others of Birgitta in the 4-button, but I have exhausted efforts searching on the web.
If you or anyone else has others and could post them or a link to them, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks again,
Rascal

Here is Princess Birgitta wearing the four 'button' tiara, on the right next to her mother Princess Sibylla, in Stockholm Palace in 1960:

The tiara was only created a few years earlier, in the late 1950s, from the rosettes originally set in the crown of King Erik XIV. Only much later they were also used as buttons in the first Bernadotte King's gala uniform.
All the King's sisters have worn it at one point, and of course Princess Lilian and CP Victoria later on.

This is the very first time I have anyone heard describe this particular tiara as beautiful!
Thank you for the color pic. Princess Margaretha can also be seen, wearing her aquamarine kokoshnik tiara, which originally belonged to Crown Princess Margaret. Current whereabouts are uncertain.

Wouldn´t it be a great surprice if the King have bought this tiara back from Princess Margaretha and give it to Crownprincess Victoria as a weddinggift to wear it at the wedding or the pre-wedding gala

Do you mean the Connaught tiara? Pricness Christine was the only of the siters who whore this one at her Wedding Day and not the Cameo tiara.

It was only Birgitta and Désirée of the sisters who wore the Cameo tiara. Margaretha wore the bridal crown that belongs to the church where she got married, Brudkrona kan bli årets klenod - Nyheter P4 Kalmar

The Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor: Wedding Wednesday: The Haga Princesses, Part 2
Now that I look at better pictures, I actually like her dress. It's very elegant and classic. I love the bell sleeves and the slim skirt. Great choice of the Connaught tiara as well. Out of all of her sister's wedding gowns, Christina's dress is my favorite.

Princess Christina's wedding gown came from the Stockholm couture school, Märtaskolan.
