Wonderful photos pdas1201. Picture #4 is probably Princess Anne, chief bridesmaid of Princess Alexandra.
The bridesmaids were Princess Anne; Emma Tennant , niece of the bridegroom; Doune Ogilvy , elder daughter of Lord and Lady Ogilvy; Georgina Butter, goddaughter of the bride; and Archduchess Elisabeth of Austria. One of the page boy was Simon Hay.
Princess Alexandra wore the London Fringe Tiara. It was given to her mother, Princess Marina of Greece in 1934, on behalf of the City of London on the occasion of her marriage to Prince George, Duke of Kent. It was made around 1870 and belonged to the Ranee of Pudukota who was the wife of the Raja of Pudukota.
The wedding ceremony was attended by all the members of the Royal Family and was broadcast worldwide on television, watched by an estimated 200 million people.

Yup, that is indeed princess Anne. The other page boy was David Ogilvy, nephew of Angus Ogilvy. Darn!! I, recently turned in a 'paper' on the wedding of Princess Alexandra and Angus Ogilvy to Alexandria for the Princess Brides Newsletter and I could have used all the help on it, where were you when I need you, Mandy
I loved those photographs. Princess Alexandra is one of my favourite royals. I have my own little shrine for her at; www.freewebs.com/princessalexandra

When Princess Alexandra of Kent (UK) married the Hon Angus Ogilvy on 24th April 1963, she carried a bouquet of roses. Please can someone tell me, what cultivar or species were those roses?
I have searched high and low for any information and this was all I could come up with. The bridal bouquet was made up of white and pale cream garden roses with white jasmine stephanotis, lily of the valley and myrtle leaves.
Not much help but, it's something. Good luck with the search.
