Pieter and Anita Religious Ceremony

As always I have to play "catch up" with the illustrious and industrious TRF members on royal events There is so much contained in this thread I had a sensory overload! The pictures are wonderful. Thanks everyone for sharing!

I was relieved to see that Laurentien was dressed more stylishly than at the civil ceremony though I still don't like her hat (it looks vaguely familiar) and if she took off that belt I bet that buckle could be double as a weapon (it's somewhat large). Maxima was the large hat lady today Are large hats a requirement for royal weddings or is this a style thing?

Prince Floris's fiancee missed the mark (in my humble opinion) for hats with that little veiled pink pillbox hat. To me, it doesn't suit her. I liked the way she looked at the civil ceremony better but she didn't look that bad at the religious ceremony.

She's just Juliana (or Julie) Guillermo, she is not a princess. The last I heard she was involved with either a Lebanese or Israeli man. I remember seeing photos of them riding a moped in Porto Ercole. I believe she is based in London working in an art-related field.

Personally, I think the dress looks a little bit more like Barbara Cano's dress then Princess Claire of Belgium's. Princess Claire's dress the lace went straight across, where the other two dresses had more of a scalloped neckline. Claire's dress was also off the shoulders.

It was a great event for Dutch Royals, but i don't understand why Princess Irene not attend?Anyone know why?But was that her daughter Margarita there?I would love to see what would Princess Irene wear if she was there, cauz she is also an elegant and classic look in Dutch Royal Family.

Yes, her daughter Margarita and son Jamie attended. Even her ex-husband attended ... but no Irene.

I think she attended Maxima and Mabel's Weddings, i think that maybe she would have been sick or sth like that cauz her daughter, and even her ex-husband also attended maybe in represented for her.

What a beautiful wedding! While Anita's dress is similar to Princess Claire's (as everyone has been saying), the lace design never grows tired in my book. It's classic, and won't go out of fashion like Mabel's bow 'design'. It's just beautiful! The veil is stunning. A very happy couple indeed. I was surprised by what the bridesmaids wore (only because it's not what I usually see bridesmaids wearing), but they look amazing. The ruffled edges and the pale green look very nice together. Thank you to everyone who took the time to post photos.
