That's funny Humera - you are ready to go to bed & I am just getting up.:)
I just checked & it looks like it is around noon in the Netherlands, so the wedding should be well underway. It's strange that it is not being broadcast or that there are no pictures yet of the arrival to the Church. Who knows, maybe I have my times mixed up ... I'll try to find out more.:)

ah...so you're not a night owl like me. Did you get up especially to catch this wedding? On a saturday? Good for you!:p
btw...I translated the last paragraph from the link you posted and it says the coverage begins at 10:45.
Well here's what it says:
"The ecclesiastical marriage is transmitted on Saturday 22 October live NOS currently from 10.45 till 13.15. The retransmission Saturday afternoon is repeated between 15.00 and 17.30. Before the service a summary of the civil marriage is transmitted."

Her gown looks very simple ... maybe like something from the 60s? It will be nice to see a full lenght picture.

I'm definately not a night owl. I woke up early because some friends & I are heading out for a day trip out into the country ... so I will miss most of the wedding, but I know everyone on the forum will do a wonderful job documenting it.:)
Thanks for the translation Humera - can't quite understand why we can't see anything

I like the simplicity of the bodice; however, I think it should have had a different neckline.

Yes, the fact that the dress is simple is good - Aimee comes across as rather delicate because of her thin figure, so to have too much fuss on the dress would be overwhelming. A slightly lower neckline might have made the dress seem a little less severe.
I like the bottom half of the dress where it is cut away. Does anyone know who designed the dress?

Nice dress, maybe a bit severe, yes, the neckline could be a bit more low...the veil is light, cute effect!
The hairdo reminds me Mary of Denmark: A high bun which sort of hide the tiara.

I really like what Laurentein is wearing, except for the hat.

Thanks so much for the pictures Pdas1201.:):)
I love Laurentien's outfit - and it is a rare day when I can say such things!
On the other hand, I'm not too keen on the Queen's outfit - I don't think grey is her best colour.
Maxima's outfit is OK. I prefer to see her in bright colours, but perhaps she is trying to stay in the background today.
The bridesmaids are adorable. Which VanVollenhoven girl is that on the far left? I always find they look so much alike.

Royal bridesmaids were Anna, daughter of Prince Maurits & Princess Marilène; Isabella, daughter of Prince Bernhard & Princesse Annette, and Julie Hoppenbrouwers, Aimée's niece.
