Louis Ducruet and Marie Chevallier: July 26 & 27, 2019

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Exactly, I have half-siblings and the only people who ever made the distinction were outsiders; not us. We were always brothers and sisters.

Precisely. My uncle has a daughter from a previous marriage and our family are very close-knit so I refer to her as my cousin just as I would my aunt and uncle's biological children, who have also never seen her as a half-sister in turn.

Charlene was absent because Gabriella was ill. It's a joke.

It will not translate to english...what does the article say?

LaRae

First they write that Charlene was not present because Gabriella was ill but at the end of the article they write:

Mise à Jour : Gabriella était du mariage de son cousin.

which means:

Update: Gabriella was at her cousin's wedding

AH well that is interesting then....

Thanks for the translation!

That is factually correct. They are half siblings, no part of the Maison princier and have no public role. They do not live in the palace, they are way older than Jacques and Gabriella, their world is completely different.

The point is, they are blood relations--they share a father so they are half siblings.

Someone called them step-siblings, step-siblings are only related by the marriage of their separate parents.

Jazmin is 27
Alexander is 15 (still a minor)
Gabriella & Jacques are 5

As someone who has many siblings and not all from the same set of parents that doesn't matter one bit to any of us. Other people like to divide us into full or half siblings, but we never do. Judging from what I've seen neither does Jazmin Grace in regards to her three siblings.

As others implied the difference in age and not growing up together is probably most important. It's more like Meghan and her older (half)brother and (half)sister; they will most likely see each other ones in a while but that's very different from growing up together and it might affect their relationship in the long term.

In spite of incredible rumours about bad relationship betwren Caroline and Stephanie, we can see they are very close. Their children loves each others, they are smiling and enjoying themselves. It's obvious their affectionate nearness.

Prince Albert and the Princess of Hanover were seated in the 2 gilded chairs by the side of the altar so I thinks its fair to assume that Princess Charlene was not present at the Wedding Mass otherwise she'd have been sitting beside Prince Albert II.

Charlene was at the civil wedding (and possibly the wedding reception in the evening) which means there must be a simple reason why she wasnt at the cathedral!

Those photos inside the Cathedral are very impressive and show the bride's gown to a better advantage.

At the evening party only Tatiana and Stephanie wore gowns I like, the others not at all.

Charlotte and Dimitri are the brunette version of Pierre/Beatrice...gorgeous couple!:whistling:

Beautiful picture of the Grimaldi women with their children in one picture at the palace gardens.Prince Rainier’s grandchildren in one picture, he cared for them so much when he was alive . Also, the picture of PC and PS with their daughters.

Thanks for the photo links guys!

I do wonder why it was just Caroline that was seated next to Albert and why Stephanie was not included? I assume it has to be because of rank?

All the Critics about Princess Charlène should be removed as she was there for the Civil Wedding.

I think because the groom's parents must stay close , but Daniel Ducruet isn't Stephanie's husband and not a membervof Princely Family.

So Jazmin was present at her cousin's wedding?

Was his father at the wedding?
