Great pictures! Thanks for posting.
I have never been a fan of her wedding dress, and I dislike it even more every time I see it. It just looks very ill-fitting and seems to swallow her whole.

I am not crazy about Paola's gown, but her tiara was lovely and she looked like an angel from Heaven.
Such a beautiful, beautiful young woman!

I was curious about this wedding and so looked. It seems to me that Paolo achieved the opposite of most women. I find the plainest of women become beautiful on their wedding days, but Paolo, perhaps the most beautiful of all Princesses in her day, somehow appeared plain. I cannot put my fiunger on it, but it's strange, she does - IMHO of course!

Well, I do think she looked rather pretty in this picture, as she probably did in all close-ups of her face (which are not that many in this thread). But the dress did not do much for her indeed, though the veil is absolutely stunning. And maybe that the pictures are mostly in black and white influences the impression she makes too.
