Pär Engsheden, the designer of Victoria's wedding dress, told to Svensk Damtidning about designing the dress at the royal wedding dress exhibition.

Pär Engsheden: "I have never seen a more beautiful bride than Victoria"
From the fittings in Prince Bertil's apartment at the Palace to the charged moment when Victoria winked him, minutes before the ceremony. For the first time, Pär Engsheden tells about how it was when he created the most important dress of his life.
Engsheden stands next to the crown princess's dress. He laid down his whole soul into it, and sew a lot by hand himself.
The dress would not just give gloss to the wedding, but should also be preserved for posterity, preferably indefinitely. And, most importantly, that Victoria would feel comfortable and happy when she was a bride. So the dress put also cast on her through entire wedding as it only does when it comes to flawless design and tailoring.
- The Crown Princess was the most beautiful bride I've seen, he says, smiling his little shy smile.
He is simply a champion who would prefer to evade attention.
What did you feel when you saw her wedding dress again after six years?
- Wow, I have really done it!
It's easy to like Pär Engsheden. He is truly humble and explains that he is not accustomed to be in focus like this. But it is, after all, the pearl among all his creations. What can be greater than the glorious task?
- It was an overwhelmingly great confidence.
A year before the wedding, he began sketching the dress in consultation with Victoria and her chambermaid, stylist Tina Törnquist. Pär sculpted the thick duchess on the Crown Princess. It took 30 meters silk and many fittings in Prince Bertil's apartment.
The train is a little secretly fastened under the belt, so that Victoria could take it away before dinner. Pär folds up the train slightly to show me the hem a little closer. But where the famous little blue rosette is hidden in the dress remains a secret.
Pär was with all the time, from morning chores until after midnight, always ready with a needle and thread. But he didn't need to worry, the dress was sitting just fine all the time, even during the wedding waltz.
Which moment you remember best?
- When I and Tina followed the Crown Princess to the car before the wedding and everything was ready. It was a very special atmosphere.

It was my favorite moment out of the entire wedding. It looked straight out of a fairy tale movie.?:whistling:

This photo just illustrates the love and happiness felt between CP Victoria and Prince Daniel, and love and happiness radiating from each guest towards the newlyweds. Beautifully captured :flowers:

Oh I totally agree with you, Victoria and Daniel to this day have had the most heartwarming, beautiful and deep love in any wedding I have ever seen of anybody. These 2 wonderful people are soul mates for eternity and beyond, their love shines through in their children and in everything they do for the people in Sweden and elsewhere. How lucky Sweden is to have such a magnificent queen and her prince for their future.:flowers:

i admire wedding dress of Princess Victoria, caz it is so wonderful, but i know Lalamira can also provide elegant wedding dress, prom dresses, girl dresses and so on.

I don't, I find it one of the most boring dresses I have ever seen. I felt very disappointed when I saw her.

Become the owner of a royal historical object in the form of a horseshoe from the royal wedding cortege for Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel 2010.

On the morning of June 19, the horses were shod with the special shoes cast in aluminum and after the parade they were taken off again. When the blacksmith later received them in return from the silversmith, he stamped each horseshoe with the unique figure for exactly which horse and hoof shoe had been sitting on.
The horseshoe is stamped 10 and has been seated on the third horse in the cart, which is ridden closest to the carriage with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. The horseshoe is crafted by Kerckhaert. Horseshoe number one has been handed over to the Royal Armoury, where it is stored and exhibited among the other royal, historical objects.

Very unflattering picture.
 
A pity that the coin's feature the Baden tiara rather than the Cameo
