One question - why does Queen Fabiola never wear a tiara anymore? What happend with the great floral one she received at her wedding?

"she wasn't worn a tiara anymore since she became a widow, as a sort of mourning.
She only made an exception for the Spanish state visit to Belgium in 2000 (Fabiola's Spanish). "

Absolutely, the last year I've seen her wearing Chanel, Dior, Matthew Williamson, Pucci, Dries Van Noten and now Miu Miu. Fashionwise, she's certainly become my favorite Belgian princess.
With her daughter Laura she was also present at a fashionshow of Ann Demeulemeester in Paris.

Some screen caps from the 1st gala night. Mind Fabiola's necklace: an image of her late husband, in the shape of a heart. VTM

Thank you very much for the screen caps Hannelore.:) They're great. It's also a great way to capture other images that the photographers don't capture. It's a great way to get a lot of wonderful pictures, and in my opinion you can never have too many pictures.
