We will see them later on today.
They will appear on the balcony after the swearing in of King Philip

Queen Paola is very very moved, especially when the King thanked her for her constant support in the last 20 years.

The King then talked to Philippe, repeating that he thinks that Philippe and Mathilde have all the necessary qualities and preparation to be good King and Queen.

Prime Minister Di Rupo is now delivering his speech.

Aww, even QFabialo stood up during the declaration of the Minister of Justice.
The PM is like a choreographer, indicating everyone when to sit and stand up.

Signing of the abdication:

Now (I think) 17 persons will sign the document. King Albert just did that, so he is not king anymore.

The King is signing his abdication, after the Minister of Justice read the act of abdication.
Now the witnesses are signing the Act as well.

It was not the prime minister, but the president of the chamber, Andre Flahaut. He read the speech in French, now it's in Flemish, but I don't know the woman :)

Why weren't Philippe's children in the abdication ceremony? They should have been there.
Is Elisabeth going to be officially recognised by the officials as Philippe's heir?

They're on their way! It's happening
Princess Xenia, what do you mean about the recognition of Elisabeth as heir? Isn't she automatically recognized as such?
