Are you referring to Princess Fawzia of Egypt, first wife of the last Shah of Iran? I believe she is still alive. There was a report of her death earlier this year, but it turned out to be a mix-up. It was her niece who died.

Also - I was just looking at pictures of Princess Soraya of Iran. She definitely deserves to be on this list. She was an absolute beauty. Classic and yet at the same time unique.

It's a real shame that we don't have pictures of some of the late Moroccan princesses. I was reading Malika Oufkir's book and she mentioned that Lalla Bahia - the second wife of the current king's grandfather - was stunningly beautiful. Alas, keeping in line with only recently abandoned Moroccan custom, the princess never appeared in public.
