Very funny. :)

We just need someone for September and November and we'd have something to look forward to every month for the rest of the year!

Is it definate that M-M is due in December?
To my reckoning that means she is only 3 or 4 weeks pregnant. Seems awfully early to be making announcements.......

It's definite. According to Haakon and Mette-Marit they're making the announcements now, because she's been troubled with nausea and "felt" the effects of the pregnancy. It has forced her to bow out of some engagements already, and, in making it public, they avoid speculation on the subject.

Hopefully , Princess Letizia will get pregnant soon !:)

I'd hate to be a kill-joy and pray to God nothing happens, but it's risky announcing a pregnancy that early. Miscarriage is still a possibility.

Nothing in life is for sure . You can loose a child after the first 12 weeks .

I hope it's a girl, but it's a 50/50 shot. Cells have no memory so she could still have another boy. Any gender would be a blessing, though.

...and also excluding the Duchess of Cornwall of course, ha ha.

What an amazing list, I never thought I would see almost every Crown Princess in Europe give birth only five months apart! Congratulations to all!

Yes, but she has already gotten 2 children in her life...and even the Royal born part in this relationship has done with his 2 sons his thing to save the Monarchy.
In fact in the Royal houses of Europe (with a king or queen as head) all the children of monarchs have gotten children in the past years...except the three Swedish Royal "children". When I started Royal watching (1996/97) I always had to read, that the crown princes of Europe don´t want to marry and that it seems, they want to enjoy their bachelor-life forever. Obviously it wasn´t forever :D
So I could and can watch since then 25 pregnancies...quite an impressive number!
Belgium: 5
Denmark: 3
Great Britain: 1
The Netherlands: 5
Norway: 4
Spain: 7
