Hereditary Grand Duchal couple - pregnancy annoucement

Norway
Nothing
Luxembourg
HGD announce pregnancy
Felix and Claire announce another pregnancy
Sweden
CP & Danial announce another pregnancy
Madeleine & Chris announce another pregnancy and move to London (all toward the end of the year)
Netherlands
Nothing
Monaco
Andrea & Tatiana - have another boy
Charlotte & Gad - either annouce another pregnancy or separate
Bhutan
King & Queen announce 1st pregnancy
Greece

Other predictions:

Harry has another scandal - no marriage for him

Beatrice and Dave - either engaged or break-up (personally I just don't get any positive vibes from Dave)

Eugenie to announce that she is permanently moving to the US and she moves in with, and possibly marries, there. Once Australia finalises the Succession to the Crown Act, Eugenie won't need The Queen's permission to marry.

Overall a bland year with everything continuing as normal:

The Queen and Philip continue their around 300 - 400 engagements
Charles continues to work hard and be underappreciated by the UK public
Camilla continues to support him and the polls continue to vary between indifference to outright hostility
William and Kate continue there bland progress as they attempt to be what they believe is 'normal'
Harry continues with his charity work, his part-time military career and a scandal or two
Beatrice will continue her charity work and the press and public will still accuse her of being worthless, along with her sister
Andrew will continue to work for the nation which loathes him
Edward and Sophie will continue to fly under the radar with allegations that Sophie is copying Kate
Anne will be Anne with Tim doing around 60 engagements a year with her
the other HRHs will still do their occasional appearances although I do think the Duke of Kent may retire when he turns 80 next year

Iluvbertie, I love your post! I agree with most of it. I think William and Kate will have a girl...not sure why, except that I think Kate looks different than she did last pregnancy, and her sickness seemed to last longer.

Prince Philip may continue to be healthy next year, or he may have a sudden health problem that requires hospitalization again - he's 94, after all.

I think that Sarah will be increasingly seen supporting Andrew's work, first from behind the scenes and eventually in a more public role. Sarah will reveal a movie project about Prince Albert's life. Her other public projects will take on some unique turns that most people won't expect...there will be a shift away from healthy eating to something else.

Princess Beatrice might get engaged - I wouldn't bet on it, though. She and Dave seem content as they are.

A princess for William & Catherine - Victoria Elizabeth Caroline Frances
Engagement of Beatrice & Dave (who will henceforth be called David)
Catherine wears HM Family Order for the first time at the Diplomatic Reception in December

Second pregnancy for Victoria & Daniel - Another daughter named Sibylla Ingrid Lillian

Queen Mathilde debuts major pieces from Queen Fabiola's jewel collection

Surprise fourth pregnancy for Mary & Frederick - another daughter named Ingrid Henrietta

My tealeaves say:

Belgium:
Pregnancy for Archduchess Lili. A baby girl, Fabiola, will be born in October.

I guess it will be twins, Paola and Fabiola :):)

Belgium
Delphine Boel will be recognised as former King Albert's daughter.
.

Nah, I don't think so. I think it will be surprisingly clear she's not entirely his daughter. :whistling:

Unplanned babies for Either Queen Mathilde or Mette Marit.

:flowers:Maybe, but my first guess is an unplanned pregnancy for Prinsess Claire.

And finally a unplanned pregnancy for Queen Maxima, two boys Bernhard and Claus:flowers:

Prinses Beatrix and Count Claus Casimier will be thrilled too. I think.

Princess Madeleine & Chris will have a boy.

If they must have an oopsie daisy baby let them be boys... All the estrogen reigning in Europe in at basically the same time may be the cause a few battles:lol: Oh, well Christian won't mind to much being surrounded by drp dead gorgeous interesting all around cool women I imagine;).

So just 3 days remain until New Year comes.

My guesses

Births

Duchess of Cambridge will give birth to another boy

Princess Madeleine will give birth to a boy

Archduchess Adelaide of Austria - a girl

Tatiana Santo-Domingo - a boy

Princess Salwa Aga Khan - a boy

THR Prince João Philippe and Princess Yasmine of Orleans-Braganza – a girl.

Pregnancies

Queen Letizia will be pregnant for a third time. This time it will be a boy and will be born in October

Princess Victoria will announce pregnancy in spring and will give birth to a boy

Princess Claire of Luxembourg will announce pregnancy in early autumn

Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan

Autumn Philips

Sophie Winkleman

Another pregnancy for Charlotte Casiraghi.

Other

Infanta Cristina will get divorce and will appear with a new man.

No abdications.

Great thread!

I expect pregnancies from Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg and Princess Amedeo of Belgium.

I read that some people think that King Harald V of Norway will abdicate in 2015: don't think so, he has stated in the past that abdication' is not the tradition in Norway'. I guess that's his way of saying that he'll never abdicate.

What will happen to the royals in 2015?

I guess that:

-The Duchess of Cambridge will have a daughter

- Princess Beatrice will announce her engagement.

-Autumn Phillips will be pregnant with a third girl.

-Princess Tessy of Luxembourg will have a third boy

I would love to see another pregnancy for Marie and Joachim but I suspect they are done.

I just hope if there is an unplanned pregnancy for any of these families it's a shocking but ultimately joyful thing like Marys.

You are right. King Harald V will never abdicate.

2015 for the Royal Family will be a big year - new baby and a milestone birthday for the Queen | Western Daily Press
For the Royal Family, 2015 means a new addition to the Cambridge household and a major milestone for the Queen.

Baby fever will begin again as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge prepare for the birth of Prince George’s sibling in April, in the run-up to May’s general election.

Other significant royal events include William’s high-profile trip to China, while the Queen is set to become Britain’s longest-serving monarch in September.

Belgium
Pregnancy for Elisabetta, the baby, Fabiola, will be born in November.
Engagement of Princess Maria Laura in September.
Health Problems for King Albert
Another very good year for King Philippe and Queen Mathilde
A few duties for Princess Elisabeth and a first one for Gabriel
Alix de Ligne will get engaged

Luxemburg
Guillaume and Stephanie will have a little boy, Henri in August.
Felix and Claire will announce in October they’re expecting a second baby.
Princess Alexandre will be spotted with a boyfriend, no engagement yet.

Monaco
Tatiana and Andrea will have a second little boy
Beatrice and Pierre will officially announce their engagement in January (a week or two after the presentation of the twins) and will get married in July.

UK
Catherine gives birth to a daughter, Charlotte, on april 29th
Autumn Philipps will announce her third pregnancy
No pregnancy for Zara
Beatrice and Dave will get engaged
Serious relationship for Harry
Several heatlh problems for Prince Philipp

Denmark
Health problems for Queen Margrethe, Frederik and Mary will have more and more duties
Nathalie will give birth to another son

Norway
Big health problems for king Harald

Sweden
Madeleine will give birth to a son
Princess Victoria will announce she’s pregnant with twins (a boy and a girl), to be born at the end of 2015
Sofia and Carl Philipp will announce a pregnancy by the end of the year.

The Netherlands
Nothing special

Spain
First Holy Communion for Leonor, she will make several public appearances.

Habsburg
Archduchess Kathleen will have another baby, to be born in july.
Archduchess Adelaide will give birth to a little girl, Amélie

A sibling for Princess Estelle would be lovely.
I would expect HGD of Luxembourg will announce a pregnancy this year. I believe they wanted to wait 3 years.

Weddings/Engagements-Perhaps Maria-Laura and Beatrice?
I always hate to speculate on the health of the older members of the families, but there are a number getting up there in age from all of the royal families.

My 2 cts:

Sweden
-apart from the obvious (wedding C-P/Sofia, on international internet forums more rumours about Sofia, child for P.Madeleine/Chris, in the swedish media more rumours about Madeleine) nothing special (but that'll be enough to fill the hear ;) )

UK
- engagement for one of the York-girls
- more dating rumours for P.Harry, but nothing official
- Zara Philips continues to ride well and becomes a sure thing for the olympics in 2016
- obviously new Cambridge baby

Netherlands
- more discussion about the financial choices of the king
- end of the year pregnancy-announcements for P.Maria-Carolina and P.Jaime

Belgium
- K.Philip and his siblings quietly continuing their work, but mood being disrupted still when various rumours concerning K.Albert continue to appear in the media

Monaco
- loads of focus on the new babies, and with that start of a slow shift of tasks within the Monaco family, P.Stephanie and her kids also taking on more ofgicial duties then before

Norway
- continuation of 2014, no big headlines

Spain
- with the NOOS trial occupying the media the rest of the RF does their best to avoid making headlines

Denmark
QMII--shall I say a member of the BRF attend as well, to start to correct such snubs after the funeral fiasco in Belgium.

Netherlands
Queen Maxima and QEII--that's a given! They both love their colors. Love it.

Sweden
Princess Estelle--I'd go flower girl over bridesmaid.

I have very thin knowledge about some of the monarchies so will just write about the ones I know a bit about. And I know the year has already begun, but meh... just barely.

Sweden
-Crown Princess Victoria announces pregnancy late in the year
-Princess Madeleine gives birth to boy 2 weeks after C-P wedding, was able to be at the wedding. Birth in Sweden
-Madeleine and Chris moves to London
-Carl-Philip and Sophia marries, announces pregnancy fast
-Christening of Madeleines baby in September, Carl-Philip is named godfather

UK
-Catherine gives birth to a girl (Charlotte Elizabeth Frances) on 21st of april
-By summer it comes out that Harry has a girlfrieds since the beginning of the year (military, volouteer or something similar) and surprises people by being engaged by the end of 2015
-Euginie gets engaged
-Autumn and Peter announces pregnancy early in the year, gives birth to a boy
-Zara will not be pregnant because of Olympics 2016
-Surprisingly large celebrations of Charles and Camillas 10th wedding anniversiry
-Queen Elizabeth II becomes the longest serving monarch in Great Britain
-Andrew decreases his duties because of the scandals
-Catherine is present at a white tie engagement showing that she has been rewarded the RFO
-Prince George will be present at the balcony on trooping of the colours
-Health problems for Philip
-The Queen will surprise by going to the Commonwealth meeting in Malta. Philips health will be okay and they stay a week or so longer in Malta to relive memories. When they come home Philip has a health scare.

Denmark
-Joachim and Marie announces third pregnancy
-Mary takes up a controversial cause that stirs the pot a bit

Others
-Christening of the Twins in February in Monaco
-Stephanie of Luxembourg will NOT announce pregnancy, rumours about fertility problems continue
-Queen Maxima announces pregnancy
-1st pregnancy for King & Queen of Bhutan
-No abdications
-Mette-Marit continues to be absent alot, promting speculations of all sorts

2015 will be another very difficult year for the Spanish Royal Family with the ongoing Inaki/Cristina investigation which will sadly over shadow everything else.

-Queen Maxima announces pregnancy

Highly unlikely, but I do predict pregnancies in the Dutch Royal Family:

- a third pregancy for Princess Annemarie de Bourbon Parme
- a second pregnancy for Princess Viktoria de Bourbon Parme
- a second pregnancy for Princess Maria Carolina de Bourbon Parme

I agree. I am almost certain Maxima is done with childbearing.

I agree. I am almost certain Maxima is done with childbearing.

i think so too. in fact, i think her and all her counterparts of same age are whether queens already (mathilde, letizia) or to come (mary, mette marit). not the case for stephanie, obviously, but i think it will be a while until we get an announcement for charlene (i'd say at least 2 years).

i predict:

an announcement of marriage for princess beatrice
an announcement of marriage in the japanese royal house
another pregnancy announcement for victoria, and a baby for sofia announced late 2015
a girl for william and catherine
a boy for andrea and tatiana
a girl for madeleine and chris
a second pregnancy announcement for felix and claire
a pregnancy announcement in the habsbourg household
a pregnancy announcement for nikolaos and tatiana
iñaki is sentenced to enter prison. cristina manages to avoid prison and pays a bail.

I would be surprised if there are any more "announcements" from Albert and Charlene. I have the feeling that it was not a simple thing for her to become pregnant in the first place. Now that she has a perfect matched pair she probably wishes to concentrate on being the best, most committed mother she can be to her twins.

To be a fly on the wall for the meeting between The Queen and Andrew. :whistling:

Haha, I kind of agree but I threw it in as a wild card :p

I agree, yet I'm secretly still hoping for an extra "el" in Belgium ;)
Then again, I think Charlene and Albert are done having children. They have the perfect number and "one of each" :)

My Predictions for 2015:

United Kingdom-

• Another boy for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge,

Prince Richard Charles Philip of Cambridge

• Princess Beatrice gets engaged... or breaks up

• Prince Harry gets back together with Cressida

• Her Majesty becomes longest serving monarch in British History

• Prince Philip's health continues to deteriorate

Denmark-

• Queen Margareth's health gets worse, she is diagnosed with Lung Cancer and announces abdication

Sweden-

• Crown Princess Victoria announces second pregnancy

• Princess Madeline gives birth to an boy, Prince Carl Edmund, Duke of Dalarna

Spain-

• Support for the monarchy plummets and Republicanism continues to rise in Spain with the recent Infanta Christina scandal is taken to court, and the former King is revealed to be courting an mistress behind his wife's back

Albania-

• Leka II of Albania is married to his long time girlfriend

Saudi Arabia-

• King Abdullah dies

Thailand-

• King Rama IX dies, monarchy is overthrown by military
