Hi, I help out occasional with House Wessex, a site about the Earl and Countess of Wessex, and I need help.
We have been running the site for several years now and have moved from provider to provider, from groups to blogs and the time has come to do a real clean up of the pass few years. But we are having trouble sorting or indeed starting. How do you clean up an old royal site.
We have lots of old articles and photos, how do we decide what should stay and what gets out? I suggested milestones and popular items (we use google analytic so we can see that people search for and are looking at), but Elsie is convinced that things we wish to discard now might be useful later.
The other problem is how do we keep them - notably the pics. Is there a good way to sort them - date, subject or how good the picture is?
Any help?
