Merci beaucoup Drimal for the translation. You're so awesome.  I don't see how Guillaume lived so basically either. He had the means to go home when he wanted which would be nice, if that is even allowed at a military academy. Doesn't seem like it would be.

thanks for the translation drimal. it's greatly appreciated. my dad stated that sandhurst was a cake walk, from what he saw from when he briefly visited the school, compared to the US marine corp's training camp called paris(h)? island.

I think you are comparing apples and oranges. Paris Island is a functional oraganization for training marines whereas Sandhurst is more comparable to the US Academy at West Point. Guillaume is probably at Sandhurst for officer training rather than combat duty.

i thought so too, like it 2001 or in 2002, b/c he's been at the university of durham since 2002. i think it would be odd for him to go back to sandhurst.
