There have been much more shots with Estelle, she is already almost 3 years and she is far more important than Leonore. It's part of the deal to publish regular pictures. Having said that, I remember at least one shooting in Haga Park where Daniel was missing, it only focused on Victoria and Estelle what is kind of unusual for a CP family.

Chris is a private person, maybe for that reason he doesnt want to be included in such pictures.

That's a good point. I didn't think about that when I was typing my post. It will be interesting to see if Chris appears in Aret Med Kungafamiljen, I'm guessing that there will be clips of Leonore's christening featuring Chris, but I meant in other occasions.

I understand that Chris is a private person. But, I find it strange that he can attend some galas and events with the RF such as National Day, but can't pose for a family photo. If he was a private person, wouldn't he not attend very public events such as National Day, where there's a 50/50 chance he will be photographed?

When Madde posted a photo of her and Chris at the Global Citizens Festival, there are people commented on hating Chris, saying things like he has been drinking too much and also about him smoking...

Madde knows that she can't control what people say about her husband but she can control what to post in her facebook. I think for now she just stops posting any pics of Chris.

There are people who do not like Madde but there are also people who miss their Princess and would love to see her and Leonore so maybe she and Chris or the RF decides that its best to post this recent pic without Chris.

I think they had taken some family photos in the studio that day and they picked that one which many people would love to see.

Leonore will have to move back permanently to Sweden by the time she begins grade school or else she will be stripped of her title and place in the line of succession to the Swedish throne. I don't think Princess Madeleine would like that to happen. If, however, Chris insists on living in the United States as I believe he will, Madeleine will have to make a choice. I may be completely wrong, but, I think the prospects for this marriage are not good as Madeleine's current "double life" as Mrs O'Neill and Princess of Sweden cannot go on indefinitely.

For that reason I believe they will move to London. At the time when Leonore has to be based in Sweden, Chris can 'escape' to London what is way easier than NY.

Hi Ashleigh, and welcome to TRF.:) Your post makes perfect sense. I would not like anonymous people ragging online about my husband and the father of my child. I don't blame Madeleine for not posting any more pictures:sad:.
 
Madeleine has even cancelled her congratulations post on her brother's wedding and I guess it is because of the comments and Sofia's porno pic links... I can understand that she doesnt want too much fuss and a bit of control

It is not just people in internet commenting Chris' weight, gossip magazine Hänt Extra writes in this weeks issue that Chris had gained some "dad weight" -"too much princess cake, Chris?" and thinks that he has to redo his white tie on the Nobel ceremonies to fit in. Stoppa pressarna quotes the article.

i hope not. its something royals have to take into their stride imo without complaining.
 
Tomorrow is Princess Leonore's first birthday, I wonder if the court will publish new photos to commemorate the occasion
 
I would think yes! Usually Madeleine updates her facebook pages for special occasions! Why not this time?
 
She looks like Chris but she also look like her cousin Estelle.

Aw, little Leonore is adorable! She seems to be a very happy baby, I love how small she is in comparison to the chair she's sitting on. Personally, I've never seen the resemblance between Leonore and Chris, but that seems to be a popular opinion - I showed the new photos of Leonore to my mother and the first thing she said when she saw them was that she looked so much like Chris. Like dbarn67, I think Leonore looks like Estelle and the rest of the Bernadottes.

I don't understand why the Daily Mail had to put "and there's new photos to prove it". They're making it sound like they already wrote an article on Leonore's birthday and no one believed them. This is a non-issue, but I just found that part of the title to be very odd and a little unnecessary.
 
According to Svensk Damtidning, Madeleine, Chris and Leonore were on Leonore's first birthday 20th February at a private skiing trip in the Alps.
 
So apparently the little one will accompany her parents to the visit to Rome & meeting the Pope ?
I do hope she behaves ;-)
