Leonore did exactly what she is always doing :lol: Always on the run! Perhaps she will have more fun with the pony when she is a bit older.

I wish I had just ten percents of her energy...

I agree but Leonore has the title of Duchess of Gotland so this is something that she would have to do sooner or later. Maybe Madeleine thought sooner was better than later. Anyway Leonore seems way more at ease in this kind of settings than the official ones. She is more free to run and jump without the risk of falling off the chair and hurt herself ;)

No matter her place in succession, it was great. While in the future even Alexander will likely have a minimal role, she is the Duchess of Gotland. It was a sweet gesture to take her there and have her meet her duchy and the pony they gave her. :flowers:

Great to see Chris there with his wife and daughter. Good chance for him to see more of the country and support his wife.:) He looked to be having a good time with them.

Leonor definitely is such a cute little handful. :p Love how she had no interest in the pony and just wanted to run. Looks a lot like Estelle when she was running.:lol:

Leonore is adorable and quite a character! She reminds me of my niece. It's actually kind of refreshing to see a little royal, (especially a girl), being so boisterous and energetic. So many of the royal children seem to be effortlessly compliant right from birth.

I think she's starting to look more like her mother and Aunt Victoria now whereas before I thought she was all Chris.

It was in response to a comment that because of her place in succession, she likely wont have an official role later. I agreed, thinking all the cousins including Alexander who is closer to the throne why I mentioned him, will likely not have a public role in the future. But it is still nice to see the king's grandchildren out, and see her taken to Gotland. Be nice to see the same with all the grandchildren.

I managed to see the coverage after all, thank you to everyone who has shared info and photos of the visit.

Little Leonore is super cute and funny. :lol: She has a lot of energy, I couldn't keep up with her when I was watching the Expressen video. It seemed that I could blink and she'd run off again. The photos of her amongst the flowers are lovely, and her dresses were beautiful.
It looks like it was rather warm in Visby today - they have better weather than here in the London suburbs!
 
Madeleine was not joking when she said Leonore was wild! ? What a darling, lively and spirited girl - already such a personality!
 
I just noticed the carrot pictures :lol:

A lot of parents have never the pleasure to see their children eating vegetables in their own will...

And this little lady is so fond of carrots that she "steals" it from a horse. Who can now further tell, that royals can't be role models :D

He has grown into such a cute little man. Happy birthday to the little prince:flowers: I totally forgot today was his birthday.

I realize now I didn't even realize CP and Sofia celebrated their 1st anniversary on Monday
 
I also noticed his big blue eyes first. WOWWW.
He's such a handsome little boy. How time fly, he's 1-year-old already.

I agree, Nicolas has intriguing facial features. He has sparkling blue eyes like Madeleine though, but there's something about him that is rather unique, too. He's such a little cutie, and I like how he is dressed, too. He shares the same birthday as my little cousin, who is three today :D

I read just minutes before, that his shirt is from the children's fashion label of princess Marie Chantal of Greece.

Yes, Nicolas does seem to be very sweet and calm, which is cute to see. I don't think he looks much like Chris though, but I never thought that of Leonore before until a couple of months ago, so who knows, maybe to my eyes he'll bear more of a resemblance to Chris in a few years. :)

I wasn't wondering about where his shirt was from, but thank you for the additional information. It appears that Marie Chantal is a favourite of Victoria and now Madeleine, since Estelle has had a few clothes from her clothing line.

MC is popular with both sisters for their kids. Estelle was wearing one of her dresses in her birthday shoot this year as well. If you look at her twitter feed, you will find pictures of Nicolas/Leonor/Estelle all in her clothes.

In the first photo I see a real resemblance to King CG. In the other photos more like Chris. So typical of little children ,every time you look you see characteristics of a different family member.
Happy birthday to the little prince.
