At Leonore's christening attended Chris's sisters Annalisa and Karen O'Neill.
They were at the official sibling photo:

Annalisa and Karen attended also at this christening, but now they aren't at the official sibling photo.
Annalisa and Karen with Oliver MacNeely, who obviously is Karen's son, because his name was at the guest list after Karen.

Oh, they were at this christening as well? I didn't see any talk about them so I assumed they weren't there. Do you have some picture of them? I wonder if there was some falling out or something. Since none of them were choosen as godparents as well.

I just posted a photo of them at this christening and you quoted it.
More photos of Annalisa and Karen, they sat behind the godparents at the same row as Tatjana d'Abo, her daughter and the Abensperg und Traun daughters.

Oh, I meant pictures from this christening :p

But they were there... how odd then! Maybe they had to leave right after the christening and couldn't stay for the photos?
 
The official pictures are really nice and bright IMO.
My favorite was the one of the couple with their kids, the flowers in the background were so pretty especially against the green wall.
 
I loved the fotos of the christening of Nicholas. Estelle and Leonore were surely the stars of the day. They are both sooooo cute!
 
Nice pics! It was about time to release them :D My favourite photo is the more relaxed one Madeleine shared on her fb page though.
 
It's strange. I don't understand why they aren't included in the sibling picture – Annalisa and Karen are as much aunts to Nicolas as Tatiana and Natascha :ermm: It's especially odd since they were included in Leonore's official christening pictures. But I suppose Chris isn't as close to them as he is to his maternal sisters.

Other than that, I think the pictures are very lovely. I really like the set-up (and the fact that they've got the headband thingy back on Leonores head again – it mysteriously disappeared during the christening :D)
 
It is odd that the two sisters were not included, as we can see they were at the reception.

The official pictures are nice but not liking that green wall. Reminds me of Kermit the frog
and Chris looks frozen in the official photos lol
 
Mybe the photographer has an obession with matching things. Like, two sibling for Madeleine, and two for Chris. LOL. I agree that is strange, especially since the other sisters were atteding. It doesn't make sense. The pics are nothing special but very ordinary, like most of the official pics. At least they are overphotoshopped like in was at Charlotte's baptism...

Svensk Damtidning writes that when Elisabeth Zimmermann, who has helped Madeleine with Leonore as a nanny, came to the church before the christening, she said about Leonore: "We shall hope that Leonore falls asleep, because she is like this", and whirled her arms to show how Leonore was full of energy.
Well, Leonore didn't fall asleep...

Svensk Damtidning also writes that although Madeleine and Chris had hoped that people instead of presents would donate money to Min Stora Dag and World Childhood Foundation, most of the guests came with bag from for instance NK or Harrods.

To be honest, I think this only becomes an issue for royalty. Tthe members of the SRF are at services of all denominations and in many different countries, so I think it only natural that they would bow.

For this Baptism the "Royal Wedding" rules apply. You walk up the aisle, bow to the altar and turn 20 degree's east and bow to the (home) royals, and turn back 40 degrees, and bow to any foreign royals (if any). Both the Crown Princess Couple and the King and Queen bowed to the altar, Carl Philip though, got a bit confused and bowed to the left as well even though there were no royals there.

If you are going to bow to King's and Queen's in a church, it seems only right and proper that you bow to whose church it is.

Edit: The minister and bishop bowed to the altar. The archbishop did not, so go figure.

Thanks for this post Marg. I have been wondering about the "rules of bows". At the wedding of CP and Sofia< when Sofia (now Princess Sofia) walked with her father up to meet CP she bowed to the altar and then to the right to the royals and then to the left where there were no royals.

Not sure which picture is more adorably sweet. The first w/Leonore & her finger in her mouth or the other one where the Star of the Day is snoozin in the cradle. Can't really blame Nicolas. It is exhausting being the centre of attention after all. :)

P.S. Nicholas has a very distinctive look. We've been seeing so many royal babies lately. Quite a crop! But Nicholas is unique. Very awake. (He bears a passing resemblance to Monaco's infant prince imo).

And my Sister thought I was seeing things!! Wait till I show her this & I'm not the only one thinking Nicholas & Jacques do look a bit alike. :D :D

It will be interesting to watch them grow: will they continue the unique resemblance? ;)
