The Olympic Stadium is getting ready for the closing ceremony, which will start pretty soon.
Here is a picture of the stadium; most of the spectators have apparantely already arrived.

Okay guys! 25 minutes to go. Stadium is currently singing 'always look on the bright side'.
Catherine Grainger and Ben Ainslie will carry the Union Flag into the stadium. I can confirm there outfits are 100x better than the opening ceremony outfits and they include RED! :)
We have the likes of Spice Girls, The Who, Take That including Gary despite his tragic loss last week, Jessie J, Queen, George Michael. Apparently it is the reception to the opening wedding

Really, really waiting forward.
None of the British royals apart from Princess Anne will be there in official capacity. But I'm still hoping some will come just to join the fun, so to speak.

Well Catherine and Harry are supposed to attend, William's at work. I think we might see the York girls as well. I shall keep my eye out.
I'm a wonder about this ceremony tbh.
Also - we have two albums being realised of music from the games.
Isles of Wonder: Music from the Opening Ceremony of London 2012 and A Symphony of British Music: Music from the Closing Ceremony.
Isles of Wonder is already out, Symphony is out tomorrow. I have bought Isles of Wonder and it's a lovely album.

Churchill (with the cigar, of course).
Were the words from the Tempest?
Why, why French first and then English?
Prince Harry representing the queen. Kate is there too.
"I only told you to blow the bloody doors off!"
Madness performing "Our House". Still, they can't beat the Jubilee performance; Our House on top of the Buckingham Palace - legendary.

OK, I just realised the scenes were from "Only Fools and Horses". Thought it looked familiar.

Much as the Pet Shop Boys are dear to my heart, imagine Frankie Goes to Hollywood belting out 'Relax'. It would blow the house down. Fabulous.
Does that date me?

One Direction with their "What Makes you Beautiful".
My neighbour drives me mad listening to this song about 1,000 times a day.
I love the rhythm, but am a bit lost.
Is there any significance to this?

Yes. We're going through a 'London' day, waking up, going to work, rush hour, waiting in traffic etc.
