It's a yearly event which started in 2005. It's always been attended by the royal family. The Emir has been to a few events with his wife before he became Emir but there are very few pictures and a very few pictures of her attending the event.

Princess Haya was a guest to the event in year 2005.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is a frequent guest at this event. He is also a member of Qatar Foundation.

Next event takes place on November 19.
I read a report that the Emir, Emirs parents will be attending.
