It's Sheikha Al Mayassa who is the mother of 3 boys (all 3 were spotted at Longchamps on Sunday with their parents as well as with Sheikh Joaan) but yeah both sisters are married to their cousins.

Does Sheikha Hind have any children? I don't remember reading anything of her being a mother but I would assume she would have at least one child by now.

On Tuesday Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani named his half-brother Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad as his deputy. Shaikh Abdullah was head of the Royal Cabinet and in July 2013 also appointed as deputy head of Qatar Investment Authority, headed by Shaikh Tamim himself.
Shaikh Tamim has not appointed a Crown Prince since he ascended the throne in June 2013 after his father abdicated in his favour.

Qatari royal kidnapped by armed men last year freed after 4 month
Some members of Qatar’s ruling family kidnapped in Iraq in December 16 last year along with 27 other men who was travelling with. About 100 unidentified armed men seized the group of Qatari falconry hunters from a desert camp in southern Iraq near the Saudi border. At least nine members of the group managed to escape after four month ordeal and crossed into Kuwait. One man is an Al-Thani from the royal family.
Officials gave no details of who had captured them or how the release had been secured. No one has claimed responsibility for the abduction of the falconry hunters.

The Qatari Royal Family has made a bid for some of Australia's best known clothing brands, "Katies" and "Rivers".
Their wealth fund - worth $439billion - already owns "Harrods" and the building housing the US embassy in London, as well as having stakes in Heathrow Airport and "Tiffany".
(And this is at a time when many Aussie retail chains have recently closed, or gone into administration, as the newly arrived European brands have opened up here and have been a success.)

After nearly a year and a half in captivity, Qatar on Friday secured the release of 26 hostages, including members of its ruling family, in what became possibly the region’s most complex and sensitive hostage negotiation deal in recent years.
A person involved in the negotiations said that 11 of the captives were members of Qatar’s Al Thani ruling family.
The incident was sparked when the group was kidnapped on December 16, 2015 from a desert camp for falcon hunters in southern Iraq. Hunters from the Gulf states often make trips there during the winter months to buy falcons and hunt the Houbara bustard.
Qatar’s ruler Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani called Iraq’s prime minister Haider Al Abadi to thank his government’s efforts to secure the release, according to a statement from the prime minister’s office.

given the current situation in qatar, being landlocked due to alleged ties to funding terrorism, i am disappointed by the seemingly progressive and liberal monarchy and leadership of qatar. what are your views on the issue?

Royal sheikh-up: meet Qatar's Saudi-backed emir-in-waiting | Asia Times
Quote:
The Gulf is abuzz with talk of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Ali Al Thani, the mysterious Qatari royal who came out of nowhere and is suddenly being groomed as an emir-in-waiting, ready to fly back home and assume the throne when the present ruler, Tamim Bin Hamad, is overthrown.
King Salman of Saudi Arabia received Abdullah Bin Ali at his summer residence in Morocco on 17 August and he was also given an audience with the powerful Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman. Saud al-Qahtani, who is chairman of the Saudi Media Studies Center and a royal adviser, stated that Arab kings have nothing but respect for the emir, and Saudi activists on Twitter launched a hashtag, “Glory to Abdullah Bin Ali.” One journalist even tweeted: “History will recall that amid the Qatari crisis, there was a wise man named Sheikh Abdullah Bin Ali.”
