Thanks for photos!
It appears that there are cordial relationships between the countries, which is a good thing. Mrs. Assad looked stunning as usual. I love her purple coat dress, which is, if I am not mistaken, from Akris autumn 2009.

Does anyone know what had happened to the HH Emir of Qatar's arm? Is it a fracture or dislocation?

A tale of two princes: How Prince Charles altered the landscape with a word in the Emir of Qatar's ear - The Guardian
Prince Charles sabotaged a £3billion property scheme during a secret meeting with the Emir of Qatar, it was claimed yesterday.
The Qatari royal family was accused of making a private deal with the Prince over his opposition to a modern development at one of London's most exclusive addresses. - Mail Online

Qatar tops MENA list of most peaceful nations
The tiny Gulf country, which has one of the world's highest income levels thanks to its vast store of natural gas, beat Oman, Tunisia, Kuwait, the UAE and Egypt to lead the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in the ranking.
Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Sudan, Pakistan and Israel continue to rank as the world's least peaceful nations, the report, released earlier this week, showed.
In the MENA region, Oman ranked 23, Tunisia came in at 37, Kuwait stood at 39 and the UAE came in at 44. Egypt ranked 49, Saudi ranked 107 and Syria came in at 115.
{This is great news for Qatar...never has any Middle East state every ranked higher than Oman. Oman needs to pick up the pace for next year...Kudos to the Al-Thani Family.}
