Rota Ramadan campaign for kids

Reach Out To Asia (Rota) and Dhreima Qatar Orphan Foundation co-hosted an Iftar and Garangao event for children as part of Rota’s Ramadan campaign.
This year’s campaign, “Rota Reaches Out to All Children” has seen a series of initiatives this month, including Iftars and house renovations, all done with valuable support from partners.
HE Sheikha Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, Rota’s Chairperson, while welcoming the guests, placed importance on the role of partners in realising Rota’s objectives.

Doha Launches its Request to Host the 2020 Olympic Games

Doha, August 26 (QNA) - HH the Heir Apparent and Chairman of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani today announced the official launch of the Doha bid to host the 2020 Olympic Games and games of persons with special needs. Following the confirmation which Qatar Olympic Committee received from President of the International Olympic Committee Jacques Rogge on the flexibility of the date for the organizing of the Olympic Games 2020, HH the Heir Apparent said “in light of the decision taken by President Rogge and the executive office of the International Olympic Committee, I am pleased to officially announce the Doha bid to host the 2020 Olympic Games and games of persons with special needs.":flowers:

Doha, September 13 (QNA) - Qatar Museums Authority (QMA) is organizing "The Arab Games Exhibition" which will open to the public from 4 October 23 December 2011 at QMA Gallery in Katara, coinciding with the 12th version of the Arab Games to be held in Qatar.

Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums Authority stated: "The Qatar Museums Authority, with its responsibility to collect, restore, exhibit and educate, also recognizes its role in preserving the sports history and heritage of the Arab world."

It is worth mentioning that the Qatar Museums Authority (QMA) was established in 2005 by His Highness the Emir, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani to combine the resources of all museums in the State of Qatar.
Under the leadership of its Chairperson HE Sheikha Al Mayassa, QMA is transforming the State of Qatar into a cultural hub of the Middle East.

HH the Deputy Emir Meets Libyan Delegation

Doha, September 22 (QNA) - HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met here Thursday morning at Al Wajbah Palace with a senior delegation of eastern and southern tribal region of Libya, who called on HH to greet him on the occasion of their visit to the country and to express thanks and gratitude to the Government of Qatar and its people for standing alongside the Libyan people during their struggle for their freedom.


The delegation expressed appreciation to HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent for Qatar's support for the Libyan revolution, stressing that building a modern and democratic Libya needs concerted Arab and international efforts, especially the Qatari unlimited support in order to achieve its objectives in establishing a society of freedom, justice and democracy.

His speech starts at 2:30-I was really amazed that he speaks French so well,he has a good pronounciaton!Many other Arab leaders don´t manage to speak one foreign language without an accent and he´s good at two :D I wish there were more videos with his speeches but I couldn´t find more than the ones that were already posted previously in this thread...

Yes he speaks French fluently . This is the only video that he is speaking French .
 
The young royals from Qatar seem to be more interested in higher education and university than other royals in the Gulf region who believe Sandhurst provides them with enough knowledge for the rest of their life :whistling:
I´ve read that Sheikh Tamim speaks German too,does anyone have a video where you can hear him talk?
