An absolute honour and pleasure to talk to HRH The Duke of Cambridge on the 30th anniversary of @LDNairamb today. Blown away by his insight and passion & how much he just really ‘gets it’ and really cares. We could all have talked to him for hours! @KensingtonRoyal

I’m wondering if the Cambridge’s will be attending the BAFTA’s on the 10th of February?

8-10 volunteers support Head Chef Nour Shab in the kitchen every day.

2,651 homeless people were supported by @PassageCharity in 2017/18 - this was made possible with the help of the charity’s 450 regular volunteers who work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The programme pairs formerly-homeless clients with local volunteers to help them settle into their new homes and community life.

The Duke of Cambridge has visited a homeless charity hours after being named as patron. Prince William first visited The Passage, in London, with Princess Diana in 1993 and has returned a number of times in the decades since.

William has become a royal patron of The Passage today, - the UK's largest resource centre for homeless and insecurely housed people. The charity holds a special place in William's heart, as first visited the centre in 1993 with his mother, Princess Diana. The late Diana visited the charity regularly for over 25 years.

This is a great patronage for William, and obviously one that he has taken a long term interest in, judging from his visits over the years. The Passage does important work, and I'm glad to see it acquire such a high profile royal patron.

I agree. Projects such as this are particularly needed during the cold winter months and it's fantastic to see William getting involved. He and Harry have always been involved in issues surrounding the homeless.

To be fair, his RAF and Irish Guards uniforms would have looked out of place at a Royal Navy service. I see that he is Commodore-In-Chief to the Royal Navy Submarine Service; does that entitle him to a Royal Navy uniform?

Yes.

Just as Anne wears a uniform of the Blues and Royals as the Honourary Colonel with no military service at all behind her.

William never served in the Irish Guards but he is entitled to that uniform and so he would be entitled to the navy uniform for this position as well.

The Duke of Cambridge is giving his support to a charity that helps homeless LGBT youngsters after Lady Gaga recommended that he get involved.

Prince William will this week meet representatives from The Albert Kennedy Trust (Akt), who hope he will become its patron.

The pair first teamed up together after William read an open letter by Lady Gaga about living with post-traumatic stress disorder. The pair then collaborated on a project for Heads Together, a mental health initiative spearheaded by The Royal Foundation, in 2017.
