She will probably get a police escort so it wouldn't take her that long. I do hope it's soon though. Looks like the 17th is out!

#royal #Kate The Queen asked by children at Lake Windermere "do you want Kate to have a boy or girl?" Her reply.....(next tweet)

#royal #kate The Queen replies she "doesn't mind", adding she hopes it's "soon" because she's going on holiday soon (next week).

#royal #Kate You can see and hear what the #Queen says in response to children's questions about boy or girl later on #skynews

#royal #kate Good to see entire Kensington Palace press team at #Lindo yesterday afternoon: "Just dropping by to say hi". Mmmm. #jumpy

Lol you have to love the Queen !

Lol, I thought it was very nice of The Queen to voice her happy thoughts to the children. The families are waiting just like everyone else.

Yeah, the hospital has gone through some changes and everyone has gotten older but the world's interest in the royal babies has remained the same.

If Kate has the baby before she goes on hols the Queen would probably be able to see him or her don't you think? Or will Kate and William go visit in a few weeks and the whole will meet the baby then?

Oooh, man is vacuuming the entrance of the Lindo wing (Sun cam) right now. Everyone go watch. ;)

The Queen's comment yesterday with the little girl was delightful.

Yeah, the Queen would be able to see the baby right away if Kate has him/her before the holiday. But if the baby is born after the Queen goes to Scotland, it might be a bit before W&K can bring baby Cambridge out to see her. I imagine they wouldn't want to travel too far from London during the first few weeks after the birth.

I've been wondering why there have been no pictures of Kate, that I've seen, in a month. I'm assuming she's at KP but is she locked up in her castle like Rapunzel?? She must go out sometimes, even to the doctors, or are the just very good at deflection??
Also, I don't know why some posters assume she was 12 weeks at the Jan14th announcement. Possibly they had the scan 2 weeks earlier?
I always estimate first time mothers by when they begin to show ,which is about 20 weeks ,and more standard than will subsequent births. She is right on the money, imo.
All my first time baby relatives and friends were late (but me!).

It's so funny watching all the tourists get photos of themselves at the Lindo Wing entrance!

ETA: Question: If the Duchess of Cambridge were to go into labor, and did go to St. Mary's, would she really enter through the front door? Or are we just waiting for officials to come out and tell us that she's in there?

I'm not sure she would enter through that entrance. I think it will be announce that she's been admitted but I think we will also know for sure when there are two or three police officers posted at the entrance.

The Sun's royal baby monitor is just hilarious ....

Well I dont know what the shape or look of a baby bump has to do with whether its a boy or girl. All I know is can this baby please hurry up so I can quit checking the forums every hour? This is getting out of control and I might have to seek medical attention pretty soon! Help!! :)

I told its just an old wives tale. I don't believe it completely as stated. It's said that if you are carrying low. Then it's a boy etc.

Ah! Very good. I felt silly after posting that question because obviously she wouldn't enter through the main entrance. But, I suppose they're there for the historical significance of that back drop, and I suppose eventually they will leave out the front entrance.

:ROFLMAO: Oh no....I missed it! Does anyone know if he's coming back later or should I call the hospital - would they give out details of the vacuum cleaner man's daily rota? Will it be the same man or a different one later or maybe it will be a woman next time! Anyone want to guess the name of the vacuum cleaner guy? I reckon it will be either James, Albert or George, or if next time a lady comes to vacuum the entrance she will be called Victoria, Alexandra or Elizabeth.......OR MAYBE the guy was sent out there as a distraction for the media while Catherine was whisked in through another entrance........albeit a slightly more dusty, unvacuumed entrance

Aww! Some girls from an icecream shop are bringing the press icecream cones!

Oh wait... they're KitKat girls! Lol

Yay free Kit Kats ice creams for the journalists !
Now live from the royal baby monitor !

I see, that's very nice of the young ladies.

Good advertisement for Kit Kats ice cream. Did you notice that "Kats" is similar to "Kate"? "Kit" is a nickname for Catherine, also. Must mean something!

Ooh, royal helicopter has landed at KP. Maybe it's time....

Via Twitter, Sorry I am having trouble embedding tweets.

@Heather84A: While helicopters land ALL the time at KP it is interesting only because some other guy had tweeted about a London no fly zone. Make of that what you well

@AndrewPotterNZ: Just saw what looks to be the royal helicopter preparing to land at Kensington Palace. Could the #royalbaby be on the way?

@ellievhall: BREAKING: @AndrewPotterNZ reports that a royal helicopter has landed at Kensington Palace. Could the #royalbaby be on the way?

@SkyNewsRoyal: #royal #Kate Being told someone got off the royal helicopter at Kensington Palace, but not a member of the royal family. Taken off again

@victoriaarbiter: Resume your posts everyone. False alarm number 4,763,218. A chopper from Bucklebury is highly unlikely. #thegreatkatewait
