Ms. Tanberk is the daughter of Mr. Olgun Tanberk and of his wife Melek, née Kampulat.

Prince Christian of Salm-Horstmar (b.20 May 1975) [younger son of Philipp-Otto, Prince of Salm-Horstmar (b.1938) & his wife Katrin, nee Sauter (b.1942)] married Countess Pilar Pilati von Thassul zu Daxberg (b.23 April 1979) sometime this year.

His older brother, Hereditary Prince Philipp (b.1973) married Antje Ziegler in 2010.

Also his first cousin, Princess Sophie Eleonore of Salm-Horstmar (b.20 January 1980) [older daughter of Prince Christoph of Salm-Horstmar (b.1949) & his wife Sigrid, nee Schreyer (b.1950)] married Bertram Bockel on 12 May.

Her younger sister Marie Christine (b.1981) is still single.
