09 January: Albert Brenninkmeijer got engaged to HRH Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon-Parma; their marriage is scheduled to take place later this year.
Count Clemens Hoyos got engaged to HSH Princess Sophie von und zu Liechtenstein; their marriage is scheduled to take place on 16 June 2012.
Richard Turner got engaged to HSH Princess Livia von und zu Liechtenstein; their marriage is scheduled to take place on 23 June 2012.
February:
Christopher Thomas got engaged to Princess Ruth Komuntale of Tooro (daughter of the late King Oyo III Rukidi of Tooro and his wife Queen Best Kemigisa); their marriage is scheduled to take place on 14 July 2012.
April:
26 April: HRH Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg got engaged to Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy; their marriage is scheduled to take place on 20 October 2012.

Two Liechtenstein Princesses who are second cousins are going to marry this year:
Princess Sophie Barbara Maria (b.16 April 1984) [daughter of Prince Eugen of Liechtenstein (b.1939) & his wife Maria Theresia, nee Countess von Goess (b.1945)] will marry Count Clemens Hoyos (b.1981) [youngest of three children of Countess Isabelle von Seefried auf Buttenheim (b.1949) & her husband, Count Martin Hoyos (b.1947)] on 16 June.
Princess Livia Margherita (b.7 April 1977) [daughter of Prince Franz of Liechtenstein (b.1935) & his late wife Laura, nee Malvezzi Campeggi (1941-2011)] will marry Richard Turner on 23 June.

Princess Ruth Komuntale of Tooro kingdom in Uganda is to wed her African American boyfriend Christopher Thomas on July 14th, 2012.
The Princess is the eldest of two daughters (and the only to survive) of late King Oyo III Rukidi & Queen Best Kemigisa.
Her brother is the current King Oyo IV Rukidi of Tooro.
Princess Ruth was born in 1989.

Prince Heinrich XXVI Reuss (b.30 November 1988) [son of Prince Heinrich IX Reuss (b.1947) & his wife Amelie, nee Freiin Besserer von Thalfingen (b.1959)] has become engaged to marry Isabelle Anna Framton. She is British, but the couple both currently study in Sydney, Australia, though they plan to live in Britain after the wedding, which is set to take place in Chichester in February, 2013.
