On 6 August Prince Constantin zu Sayn-Wittgenstein Berleburg (b.27 November 1978) [son of Prince Johann zu Sayn-Wittgenstein Berleburg (b.1939) & his wife Almut,nee Leonhards (b.1943)] got engaged to Freiin Aimee von Gersdorff.
Constantin is the youngest of three children and last one who marries.

Prince Heinrich X Reuss (b.Büdingen 28 Jul 1948) [son of Prince Heinrich I Reuss (1910-1982) and his wife Woizlawa-Feodora, nee Duchess of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (b.1918)] will marry, thirdly, on 3 December, Lucina Wolffersdorf-Zajder. A religious wedding is to follow in 2012.

He was previously married (from 1976 to 1990) to Baroness Elisabeth Akerhielm of Margarethelund (b.1946, mother of his two children: Benigna, b.1980 and Heinrich XXIV, b.1984) and Countess Antoinette von Arnim (from 1991, also ended in divorce, no children)
His third wedding will take place exactly three months after that of his daughter to Oscar Ascoz y Planes.

Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein (b.16 April 1984) [daughter of Prince Eugen of Liechtenstein (b.1939) & his wife Maria Theresia, nee Countess von Goess (b.1945)] got engaged to Count Clemens Hoyos (b.1981) [son of Countess Isabelle van Seefried auf Buttenheim (b.1949) & her husband Count Martin Hoyos (b.1947)] They are going to marry on 16 June 2012.

Sophie is the youngest of four children and last one who marries.
Clemens is the youngest of three children and second one who marries.

Double engagement announcements in the Austrian Imperial Family:
the engagements between Archduke Imre and Kathleen Walker and between Archduke Christoph and Adélaïde Drapé-Frisch were announced in Bruxelles on 22 December 2011.

Archduke Imre and Archduke Christoph are sons of Archduke Carl Christian of Austria and his wife Archduchess Marie Astrid, née Princess of Luxembourg.

Pedro Corcuera y Habsburgo-Lorena (b.1985) [second of four sons of Archduchess Myriam of Austria (b.1959) {herself daughter of Archduke Felix of Austria (1916-2011) & his wife, Princess Anna-Eugenie von Arenberg (1925-1997)} & her husband Jaime Corcuera y Acheson (b.1955)] is engaged to Susana Kiehnle y Sierra (b.1988).

Count Maximilian von Habsburg (b.12 August 1976) [son of Archduke Radbot of Austria (b.1938) & his wife Caroline, nee Proust (b.1952)] got engaged to Sunok Lee this year.

Maximilian is the second of three children and last one who marries.
