Countess Stefania zu Königsegg-Aulendorf, née Baroness Waldbott von Bassenheim, passed away on 13 January 2012, aged 82.

She was born at Sátoralja-Ujhely on 19 November 1929, daughter of Baron Friedrich Heinrich Waldbott von Bassenheim and his wife, née Archduchess Maria Alice of Austria (daughter of Archduke Friedrich, Duke of Teschen).
She was married since 1955 to Count Johannes zu Königsegg-Aulendorf, with whom she had three children (Countess Isabelle, Hereditary Count Maximilian and Count Markus).
She is survived by her husband, her children and their families.

A Kuwaiti senior member of the Al-Sabah ruling family, Sheikh Saud Nasser al-Sabah, has died on January 21st, 2012, of cancer, aged 68. - Source
 
Hereditary Grand Duchess Karin of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, née von Schaper, died in Glücksburg during the last week of January.

[She was born at Breslau on 31 January 1920. In 1941 she married Hereditary Grand Duke Friedrich Franz of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1910-2001). They divorced in 1967 but remarried in 1977. She will be buried at Glücksburg on 14 February.]

Archduke Franz Salvator of Austria, Prince of Tuscany, died on 13 February 2012. He was 84.

Archduke Franz Salvator was born on 10 September 1927 at Schloss Wallsee, the eldest son of Archduke Theodor Salvator (a son of Archduke Franz Salvator and Archduchess Marie Valerie, daughter of Emperor Franz Josef I) and his wife Archduchess Maria Theresa, née Countess von Waldburg zu Zeil u.Trauchburg.
He married twice: firstly from 1962 to her death in 1966 to Princess Anna Amelie von Schönburg-Waldenburg, and secondly from 1980 to her death in 2000 to Hedwig von Lichem-Löwenburg. He had two daughters from his second wife, Archduchess Margaretha and Archduchess Marie Valerie.
He is survived by his two daughters, their families, his siblings Theresa (Princess Rasso of Bavaria), Maria Immakulata and Carl Salvator with their families.

HRH Princess Maria Anna of Saxony passed away at Munich on 13 March 2012, aged 82.

She was born on 13 December 1929, the third child and second daughter of Prince Friedrich Christian of Saxony (later Margrave of Meissen) and his wife Princess Elisabeth Helene, née Princess von Thurn und Taxis.
She married in 1953 to Roberto de Afif, with whom she had three sons; they remained married until her husband's death in 1978.
In 1997 her childless older brother Maria Emanuel, the Margrave of Meissen, announced that her eldest son Alexander would be his successor to the headship of the Royal Family of Saxony; the Margrave later adopted Alexander in 1999.
She is survived by her three sons Alexander, Friedrich Wilhelm and Karl August, her daughters-in-law, eight grandchildren, her siblings Maria-Emanuel, Maria Josepha, Albert and Mathilde.

King George Tupou V of Tonga died on 18 March 2012 at Hong Kong, aged 63.

He is survived by his daughter out of wedlock, Ilima Lei Tohi Fifita (b.1974) his son-in-law, Tulutulumafua'i Olotele Kalaniuvalu (b.1969) and three grandchildren, as well as his mother, Queen Halaevalu Mata'aho Ahome'e (b.1926), his sister Salote Mafile'o Pilolevu Tuita (b.1951) his brother Aho'ietu Unuak'otonga Tukuaho (b.1959 who succeeds him), six nieces, five nephews, one great-niece and one great-nephew.
His other brother, Fatafehi 'Alaivahamama'o Tukuaho predeceased him in 2004.

Prince Alexander of Liechtenstein died in March.

He was born in Vienna on 14 May 1929 as the oldest of three children of Prince Alfred of Liechtenstein (1900-1972) & his wife Polyxena, nee Countess von Collato and San Salvatore (1905-1984). He married in Bronnbach an der Tauber civilly on 27 December 1960 and religiously on 7 January 1961 Princess Josephine of Lowenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg (b.1937) They had three sons: twins Christian and Stefan (b.1961) and Emmanuel (b.1964) five grandsons and six granddaughters.
Apart from his wife and all descendants he is survived by his sister Elisabeth (b.1932); his brother Franz predeceased him in 1987, aged 41.

HI&RH Princess Fatma Neslişah of Egypt, née Princess Fatma Neslişah Osmanoğlu Sultan, passed away at Istanbul on 2 April 2012, aged 91.

She was born at Nişantaşı Palace, Istanbul, on 4 February 1921; she was a daughter of HIH Prince Şehzade Omer Faruk Efendi and his first wife HIH Princess Rukiye Sabiha Sultan. Her paternal grandfather was the last Ottoman Caliph Abdülmecid II, while her maternal granfather was the last Ottoman Sultan and Caliph Mehmed VI Vahidettin.
She married in 1940 to HRH Prince Muhammad Abdel Moneim Beyefendi of Egypt, who in 1952 served as Regent for his baby cousin King Fuad II of Egypt; they had two children, Prince Abbas Hilmi Abdulmunim Beyefendi and Princess İkbal Hilmi Abdulmunim Hanımsultan.

MAfan, you need to fix the late Princess' birth date. Just letting you know.

She lived such a long time and things that she saw and experienced boggle the mind when you think of it.

Delia Fürstin zu Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Wallerstein, née Schenk Gräfin von Stauffenberg, died on 5 May.

She was born at Stuttgart in 1919, daughter of Markwart Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg (1889-1975) and his second wife, Olga-Maria Böhl de Liagre (1889-1973). In 1942 she married Carl Friedrich Fürst zu Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Wallerstein (1917-1991). She is survived by their daughter Ernestine (b.1943), two sons Moritz (b.1946) and Kraft (b.1951), five grandsons and eight great-grandchildren.

Maharaja Ranjitsinhrao Gaekwad, Sena Khas Khel Shamsher Bahadur, Maharaja of Baroda, died from renal failure at a private hospital in Baroda, on 9 May 2012, a day before his 74th birthday.

He was born at Ootacamund as the second son of Major-General H.H. Shrimant Maharaja Sir Pratapsinhrao Gaekwad, Sena Khas Khel Shamsher Bahadur, Maharaja of Baroda by his first wife, H.H. Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati Maharani Shantadevi Sahib Gaekwad.
Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, Maharaja Fatehsinhrao Gaekwad, as Head of the Royal House of Baroda, 1st September 1988.He married on December 1964, H.H. Maharani Shrimant Akhand Soubhagyavati Shubhanginidevi Raje Sahib Gaekwad, née Arunadevi Jadhav daughter of Sardar Deorao Krishnarao Jadhav, of Gwalior. having had issue, one son and two daughters:
Alaukikadevi Raje Gaekwad b. 1st November 1965. (married, two sons)
Anjanadevi Raje Gaekwad b. 2nd June 1968. (married twice, two sons by second marriage)

Prince Tomohito of Japan has died today from a multiple organ failure in Tokio hospital.

He was born on 5 January 1946 as second of five children and oldest son of Prince Mikasa (b.1915, uncle of the current Emperor Akihito) & his wife Hisako, nee Tottori (b.1923). On 7 November 1980 he married Nobuko Aso (b.9 April 1955) third daughter of the late Mr. Takakichi Aso, chairman of Aso Cement Co., and his wife, Kazuko, the daughter of former Prime Minister Yoshida Shigeru; they had two daughters: Akiko (b.20 December 1981) and Yoko (b.25 October 1983).

Apart from his parents, wife and daughters he leaves a brother Katsura (Yoshihito,b.1948), two sisters Yasuko (Mrs. Konoe, b.1944) and Masako (Mrs. Sen, b.1951) three nephews and four nieces, his youngest brother Takamado (Norihito) predeceased him in 2002 (aged 47)Sources: Noblesse & Royautés » Actualité, Wikipedia
 
Countess Elisabeth of Stolberg-Stolberg died on 29 May, eight days after her 93rd birthday.

She was born as the oldest of seven children of Archduchess Hedwig of Austria (1896-1970; granddaughter of Emperor Franz Josef I and Empress Sissi by their youngest daughter, Valerie) and her husband, Count Bernhard of Stolberg-Stolberg (1881-1952).
Athough she was the oldest one,all her youngest siblings are already dead, except the youngest one, Magdalena (b.1930). She leaves also 15 nieces and 16 nephews with their families. She lost one niece, one nephew and one great-niece.
She didn't set her own family.
