* 07 January: Sheikh Zayed bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum of Dubai, first son together of Sheikh Mohammed, Emir of Dubai, and of his wife, née Princess Haya bint Al Hussein of Jordan.
* 24 January: Princess .. of Denmark, Countess of Monpezat, first daughter and second child together of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark, née Cavallier.
* 22 January Carl Stephan, first child of Princess Tatiana of Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Hubertus Stephan.
* 28 January: Princess Antoinette of Orléans, second child and first daughter of The Duke and Duchess of Vendôme, Prince Jean and Princess Philomena, née de Tornos y Steinhart.
February:
* 22 February: Princess Isabelle of Orléans, first child of the Duke and Duchess of Anjou, Prince Charles Philippe and Princess Diane of Orléans, Duchess of Cadaval.

Little Antoinette got a new second cousin today. Diana, the Duchess of Anjou, Duchess of Cadaval gave birth to a daughter called Isabelle today.

Prince Charles Philippe d'Orleans, Duke of Anjou, and his wife Princess Diana, Duchess of Anjou and Duchess of Cadaval, welcomed today, 22 February 2012, in the afternoon their first child, a daughter called Isabelle.
Princess Isabelle was born at Lisbon.

A bit late but Kraft Christian Erbprinz zu Hohenlohe-Oehringen and his wife Erbprinzessin Carolin, née von Wendorff had their third son and third child Thassilo on June 26th 2011.
A brother for Christian Kraft (16-1-2007) and Carl Ferdinand (16-1-2009)

Nearly half a year after the birth of his last child, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum of Dubai (b.1949) has another reason to big joy: he is a grandfather again!
Of a boy, named Rashid, born on 20 May.
Happy parents are Sheikha Hessa (b.1980, his oldest daughter by his senior wife Sheikha Hind) and her husband, Sheikh Saeed bin Dalmuk bin Juma al-Maktoum.
Little Rashid has a sister Hind (25-11-2009)
