Count Matteo Georg Ernst von Thun und Hohenstein (b.24 November 1984) [son of CountFelix Heinrich Pius Maria von Thun und Hohenstein(b.1959) & his wife Regina, nee Frankl (1960-2017)] married Josefa Lovrek on 22 July.

Matteo is the oldest of three children and first one who marries.

Unfortunately, fifteen days after the wedding a newly-wedded husband experienced a great sadness: his mother passed away.

Alexander de Pottere (*1985), youngest son of Countess Veronica Holstein (who is a daughter of Princess Marie Gabrielle of Luxembourg) and her husband Francois Bruno de Pottere, married Natalie Ann Spiller (*1985) this year.

Alexander's older brother, Charles, married Layla Kajer in 2015 and has a daughter. His oldest brother, Bruno, died in infancy.

Countess Fredrika Bernadotte af Wisborg (*1985), middle daughter of Count Carl Bernadotte af Wisborg and his wife Charlotte Urban, married Eric Malm (*1982) this year.

Her older sister Josephine married Mikael Salenstedt in 2011, while her younger sister Elsa is unmarried.

Her first cousin also got married this year: Jan Van Helleputte (*1986), younger son of Countess Birgitta Bernadotte af Wisborg and her former husband Richard Van Helleputte, married Sara Lindquist (*1986).

Jan is the second to marry; his brother Charles married Caroline Bjorck in 2015.
