Rosemarie Princess zu Erbach-Schönberg, née Moshage, died on 25 May.

She was born in Schlewecke on 22 September 1927, and married on 9 March 1946 Ludewig Prince and Count zu Erbach-Schönberg (1926-1998). She is survived by a son Dietrich (current Prince and Count zu Erbach-Schönberg (b.1954) and two daughters Uta (b.1955) & Patricia (b.1967) her firstborn son predeceased her in 1998 aged 57.

Johann Dietrich "Jan Dirk" Auffermann died this year.

He was born in 1944 and in 1981 married Elisabeth Christine von Walthausen (b.1955) [daughter of Marie Christine von Oswald (b.1921) & her husband Kurt Wilhelm von Walthausen (1915-2011). They had six children: Johanna, Johann-Christoph, Helene, Paulina, Clarissa & Julius as well as at least one grandchild Louise (Johanna's daughter).

Don Barnabò Visconti di Modrone, Duke of Grazzano Visconti, Count of Lonate Pozzolo, passed away on 12 June 2015, aged 85.

He was born on 11 march 1930, the eldest son of Don Luigi Visconti di Modrone (who in 1942 succeeded as Duke of Grazzano Visconti) and of his first wife, née Countess Maddalena Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga.
He marrie three times: firstly to Luciana (of the Marquesses) Avati; secondly to Marta Nistri Ranelletti; thirdly to Francesca Scarsini. He had a daughter and a son, Violante and Gian Galeazzo, by his first wife and two daughters, Ilaria and Valentina, by his second wife.
He is survived by his four children, their spouses and ten grandchildren.

The Lady Sarah Clutton, née Fitzalan-Howard, died on 14 June 2015 aged 73.

Lady Sarah Margaret Fitzalan-Howard was born on 28 September 1941, the third of the four daughters of the 16th Duke and Duchess of Norfolk.
She was married since 1988 to Nigel Clutton; she didn't have issue.

She was the heiress presumptive to the title of Lady Herries of Terregles, whose currently holder is Lady Mary Mumford, older sister of the deceased; the new heiress is their younger sister Jane, Marchioness of Lothian.

Count Gobert-Léopold d'Aspremont Lynden and of the Holy Roman Empire passed away on 16 June 2015 in Saint-Raphaël, France, aged 83.

He was born in Etterbeek (Belgium) on 5 August 1931, son of Count Gobert d'Aspremont Lynden and of his wife, née Baroness Marie Blanche d'Overshie de Neeryssche.
He was married since 9 August 1956 to Countess Marie de Limburg Stirum (herself the eldest daughter of Count Charles de Limburg Stirum and of his wife, née Princess Marie Kunigonde Lobkowicz). They became parents of seven children: Jean Charles, Elisabeth (Baroness Arnoud Papeians de Morchoven), Philippe, Geoffroy, Sophie (Mrs. Didier t'Serstevens), Clothilde (Mrs. Philippe Haegelsteen), and Christophe.
He is survived by his wife, their children and children-in-law, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

His Grace the 3rd Duke of Fife died today (22 June 2015) at his home at Kinnaird Castle, Scotland. He was 85.

Born as the Honourable James Carnegie on 23 September 1929, he was the only child of the 11th Earl of Southesk and of his wife, HH Princess Maud of Fife (herself the youngest daughter of the first Duke of Fife and of his wife, Princess Louise, Princess Royal and Duchess of Fife, eldest daughter of King Edward VII of the UK).
He succeeded to his aunt Princess Alexandra, 2nd Duchess of Fife, as the 3rd Duke in 1959; later in 1992 he also succeeded to his father as the 12th Earl of Southesk.
He has been married from 1956 to 1966 to the Hon. Caroline Dewar, daughter of the 3rd Baron Forteviot (and later remarried to Sir Richard Worsley). They became parents of two children.
He is survived by his daughter, Lady Alexandra Etherington, and by his son David, Earl of Southesk, who will succeed him as 4th Duke of Fife.

Prince Maximilian Heinrich Karl Maria von Croy died in Rakovnik on 17 June.


He was born in Slabetz on 9 September 1932 as oldest of five children of Prince Alexis von Croy (1910-2002) & his first wife, Countess Elisabeth of Beaufort-Spontin (1911-1995). He married in Altotting on 29 November 1958 Asja Lukić (1932-2014) but they divorced in 1973.
He is survived by his two children: Alexis (b.1959) & Anna Maria (1965) their families, as well as three younger siblings and their families (his youngest brother Johannes lived only two days).

Joseph de Pasquale, husband of the late Duchess Maria Magdalene of Leuchtenberg (1926-2005), died on June 22, age 95.

He was a professional violinist. In 1949 he married Duchess Maria Magdalene of Leuchtenberg. They had four children: Marie Alexandra (b. 1950), Elizabeth Ann (b. 1952), Joseph Serge (1956-2000), and Charles Nicholas (b. 1957), and ten grandchildren.

Countess Alexandre de La Rochefoucauld, Duchess d'Estissac, née Antoinette de Moustier, passed away on 29 June 2015, aged 91.

She was born on 27 September 1923 in Paris, daughter of Count Pierre de Moustier and of his wife, née Élisabeth de Talhouët-Roy.
She married in 12/14 October 1943 to Count Alexandre de La Rochefoucauld (1917-2008), eldest son and heir of the Duke d'Estissac. On the same days her twin sister Marie-Agnès married to Count Jean de La Rochefoucauld, brother of Alexandre.
The Duke and Duchess d'Estissac became parents of six children: Jeanne (Princess Bernard de Polignac), Nathalie (Countess Pierre de Bernis Calvière), Pierre-Louis (current Duke d'Estissac), Claude (Mrs. Antoine de Burin de Roziers), Emmanuel and Philibert.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The Lady Aline Caroline Cholmondeley passed away on 30 June 2015, aged 98.

She was born on 5 October 1916, the eldest child and only daughter of the 5th Marquess of Cholmondeley and of his wife, née Sybil Sassoon.
Lady Aline never married and didn't leave issue. She was the sister of the 6th Marquess of Cholmondeley and aunt of the current Marquess.

Marchese Luigi Coda Nunziante di San Ferdinando died on July 7, aged 84. He was born in Naples, on September 20 1930, the fifth child and fourth son of Marchesa Francesca Nunziante di San Ferdinando (1892-1968) and Marchese Mario Coda (1885-1950).

Marchese Lugi is survived by his wife, Marchesa Gabriella, née Contessa Spalletti Trivelli (b. 1933), their five children and nine grandchildren.

Princess Irina Bagration-Mukhransky, née Countess Irina Sergeievna Tchernysheva-Besobrasova, passed away in New York on 9 July 2015, aged 88.

She was born in Neuilly (France) on 26 September 1926, daughter of Count Sergei Tschernyschev-Bezobrazov and of his wife, née Countess Elizabeta Cheremeteva. Irina was the older sister of Countess Xenia Tchernysheva-Besobrasova (1929-1968), who was the first wife of Archduke Rudolph of Austria. Through her mother, she was also a first cousin of Prince Nicholas Romanovich and Prince Dimitri Romanovich of Russia, as well as the niece of Count Nikolai Cheremetev, husband of Princess Irina Yusupova (the daughter of Prince Felix Yusupov and of Princess Irina Alexandrovna of Russia).
She was married from 1949 until his death to Prince Theymuraz Bagration-Mukhranski (1912-1992), the son of Prince Konstantin Alexandrovich Bagration-Mukhranski and of his wife, née Princess Tatiana Konstantinovna of Russia. They didn't have children.
Her husband has worked for many decades for the Tolstoy Foundation in New York, eventually becoming its President in 1986.

Count Claude Emanuel "Manu" of Oultremont died in Wluwe Saint Lambert on 7 July.

He was born in Marcinelle on 9 May 1931 as the third of six children of Count Herve of Oultremont (1901-1972) & his wife, Countess Charlotte of Ursel (1903-1971).
He married civilly in Anthee on 2 September & religiously on 10 September in Serville Countess Edith Christyn de Ribaucourt (b.1939) by whom he had four daughters: Elisabeth (b.1961), Veronique (b.1965), Astrid (b.1968) & Muriel (b.1971).
He is survied by his wife, daughters their families as well as five of his siblings.

Countess Anna Alexandra of Solms-Wildenfels died in Augsburg on 7 July 2015.

She was born in Wildenfels on 1 January 1926 as the oldest of five children of Friedrich Magnus 5th Count of Solms-Wildenfels (1886-1945) * his wife, Princess Marie Antoinette von Schwarzburg (1898-1984).
She is survived by three of her siblings and their families; she didn't set her own one.

She was born in 1941 as the youngest of three children of Princess Marie of Windisch Graetz (1907-1990) & her husband Ottaviano, Prince von Collato and San Salvatore (1806-1973).
She married in 1969 Alberto Falck (1938-2003) by whom she had three children: Elisabetta (b.1972), Enrico (b.1975) & Alessandro (b.1976).

Rosemary Alice Collins, nee Montagu-Douglas-Scott died 10 July, 2015.

She was born Rosemary Alice in Eildon Hall on 3 Aug 1940, twin with her sister Frances (later Baroness Cranworth), third daughter of Lord William Walter Montagu Douglas Scott MC (1896-1958) &his wife Lady Rachel Douglas-Home (1910-1996) daugter of the 13th Earl of Home and sister of the Prime Minister Sir Alec Douglas-Home

She was also a granddaughter of the 7th Duke of Buccleuch, and niece of Lady Alice Montagu Douglas Scott (1901-2004), who, in 1935, married King George V's third son, Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester (1900-74).

Rosemary Montagu Douglas Scott married in London on 22 February 1978 Samuel Alexander Mark Collins (b.1935) son of publisher Sir William Collins, by whom she had two sons: Sampson William Francis (b 1982), and Benjamin Mark Timothy (b 1984).

The Dowager Duchess of Newcastle, née Sally Ann Wemyss Anstice, passed away on 9 July 2015, aged 87.

She was the third wife and widow of Henry Pelham-Clinton-Hope, 9th Duke of Newcastle (1907-1988), whom she married on 23 October 1959. They didn't have issue together.

Prince Bernard de Polignac died on 24 July 2015, aged 70.

He was born on 6 September 1944, the second son of Prince Hubert de Polignac and of his wife, née Radégonde Moulart de Vilmarest.
He was married since 30 June 1967 to Jeanne de La Rochefoucauld, the eldest daughter of the late Duke and (the recently deceased) Duchess d'Estissac and sister of the current Duke. They were parents of two sons, Prince Guillaume and Prince François de Polignac.
He is survived by his wife, their children, their daughter-in-law (née Constance Mysyrowicz, wife of François) and four grandchildren.

She was born in Everberg on 9 April 1934 as the youngest of three children of Prince Amaury de Merode (1902-1980) & his wife Marie-Claire, nee Princess of Croy (1907-2000). She married in Vatican on 7 July 1955 Henri de Potter d'Indoye (1903-1994).

Countess Maria Christina Johanna Theresia von Meran has died sometime this year.

She was the second of six children of Count Philipp von Meran (1894-1950) and his wife Countess Marie-Anna von und zu Eltz gennant Faust von Stromberg (1900-1994). In 1954 she married Friedrich Rothenbühler (1914-1984), with whom she had one child, Friedrich Stephan, in 1958. She is survived by her son and his three children Yannick (b. 1994), Natacha (b. 1997), and Danielle (b. 2001).
