Her eldest brother Anton (b.1981) married Beatrice Mary Johnson (b.1982) in 2011; they have three children: Carl Georg (b.2015), Sophie (b.2017) & Mia Elisabeth (b.2018).

After a partnership of a quarter of a century and four children, India Hicks and David Flint Wood have married. David Flint Wood announced the news of his wedding to the late Lord Mountbatten's granddaughter on instagram.

The nuptials took place 10 September, 2021, at St Bartholomew's Church, Brightwell Baldwin, Oxfordshire, close to the home of India's mother, Lady Pamela Hicks.

Writer India Amanda Caroline Hicks [born 5 September, 1967], whose home is at Harbour Island, the Bahamas, is a granddaughter of the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, a cousin of the British Royal Family, and was a bridesmaid at the wedding of Lady Diana Spencer and the Prince of Wales in 1981.

India is the younger daughter of the late designer David Nightingale Hicks [1929-98], and his wife the Lady Pamela Carmen Louise Mountbatten [born 19 Apr, 1929], who was Earl Mountbatten's younger daughter.

David Flint Wood [born 3 March, 1961], is a son of Derek and Wendy Flint Wood, is a former Saatchi & Saatchi advertising executive. Flint Wood and India Hicks have four children, Felix, Amory, Conrad, and Domino. Some years ago the Flint Woods became the legal guardians of a Bahamian, Wesley.

India Hicks, a great-great-great granddaughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.

The South African born Duchess is now chatelaine of the magnificent Floors Castle, the largest inhabited castle in Scotland and family home of the Dukes of Roxburghe. The castle was built for the 1st Duke of Roxburghe in 1721.

The Duke was one of Britain's most eligible bachelors, and served in the army with his childhood friend the Duke of Sussex. He inherited his father's title and £100m estate in 2019. The duke, when Marquis of Bowmont, was also once fined for riding the Tyne and Wear Metro without a £1 ticket, but chose to pay the £10 fine rather than end up on 'loser posters' put up around the city.

Charles Roxburghe attended Eton College before following in his father's footsteps by going to Sandhurst after which he served during the Iraq War. It is the second marriage for Charles Robert George Innes-Ker, 11th Duke of Roxburghe. This childless marriage ended in divorce in 2013, and Charlotte is now wife of Francesco Bellasi.

The Duke of Roxburghe succeeded to the title on his father's death, 29 Aug, 2019. The 10th duke died from cancer aged 64. Lady Jane’s sister, Leonora, Countess of Lichfield, is the former wife of the late society photographer, Patrick Lichfield, and lady-in-waiting to the Princess Royal.

The Duke of Roxburghe has a brother, and current heir presumptive, Lord Edward Innes-Ker [born 2 Feb, 1984], known as Ted, and a sister Rosanagh [born 16 Jan, 1979], a bridesmaid at the wedding of HRH The Duke of York and Miss Sarah Ferguson, in 1986 [it was at a Floors Castle house party where Prince Andrew is said to have proposed to Sarah]. Rosanagh is Viscountess Grimston, wife of the Earl of Verulam's son and heir, Viscount Grimston.

The Duke has two half-siblings, Lady Isabella Innes-Ker [born 7 Sept, 1994], and Lord George Innes-Ker [born 20 Nov, 1996], from his father's second marriage to Virginia Wynn-Williams.
