Princess Elena of Yugoslavia (b.12 March 1963) [daughter of late Prince Aleksander of Yugoslavia (1924-2016) & his first wife, Princess Maria Pia of Savoy (b.1934)] married religiously, as her second husband, Stanislas Fougeron (b.1975) at the Saint Etienne de Janville church in Janville, France, on 15 September; their civil wedding took place at the town hall of the VIII district of Paris on the day of the bride's 55th birthday.

She was previously married (only civilly) to Thierry Gaubert (b.1951) by whom she has three children: Milena (8-7-1988), Nastasia (22-2-1991) & Leopold (19-7-1997); her firstborn daughter married Jonathan Elio Namias (b.1980) last year.

Duchess Sophie of Württemberg (b.15 January 1994) [daughter of Prince Philipp of Württemberg (b.1964) & his wife Marie Caroline, nee Princess of Bavaria (b.1969)] married civilly marry Maximilien d'Andigne (b.1989) [son of Herve d'Andigne & his wife Marie Adelaide, nee de la Barre de Nanteuil] in Altshausen on 15 September.

Sophie is the eldest of four children and first one who marries.

Philippa is fourth of five children and reportedly first one who marries.

The marriage took place 30 April, 2018, at the Church of St Michael and All Angels, Badminton, Gloucestershire, between Henry John Fitzroy Somerset, 12th Duke of Beaufort (born 22 May, 1952), of Badminton House, eldest son of the late 11th Duke of Beaufort (1928-2017), by his first wife the former Lady Caroline Jane Thynne (1928-95), scion of the Marquesses of Bath, & Miss Georgia Powell (born 18 Feb, 1969), scion of the Powell landed family, daughter Tristram Roger Dymoke Powell (b 1940), descended from the Earls of Longford, by his wife the former Virginia Beatrice Lucas, scion of the Lucas landed family, of Oakash.

The Duke of Beaufort married firstly, 13 June, 1987, in the presence of the Princess of Wales and Duchess of York, Tracy Louise Ward (b 22 Dec 1958), scion of the Earls of Dudley, daughter of the Hon Peter Ward by his wife the former Claire Leonora Baring, by which marriage he had two sons and a daughter.

The new Duchess of Beaufort is a granddaughter of Anthony Dymoke Powell, the great author, by his wife the former Lady Violet Georgiana Pakenham, third daughter of the 5th Earl of Longford (1864-1915), by his wife the former Lady Mary Julia Child Villiers, daughter of the 7th Earl of Jersey. She married firstly, in 1996, Tobias Coke, by whom she has a son and a daughter.

Lord Ivar Mountbatten, 55 year-old cousin of the Queen has married his male partner, James Coyle.

Lord Ivar married in the presence of his first wife, Penny, and his three daughters, Ella, Alexandra and Louise Mountbatten, in Devon, on 22 September, 2018.

Lord Ivar Alexander Michael Mountbatten (born 9 March, 1963), is perhaps the first of Queen Victoria's descendants to enter into a same-sex marriage.

Lord Ivar is the second son of the 3rd Marquess of Milford Haven (1919-70), who was best man for Prince Philip when he married the then Princess Elizabeth in 1947. The 3rd Marquess, who collapsed and died in a London railway station, aged 51, married as his second wife, Janet Mercedes Bryce, who is Lord Ivar's mother.

Lord Ivar's great-grandfather, Prince Louis of Battenberg, was created Marquess of Milford Haven in 1917 on the renunciation of German styles and titles by the family of King George V. The 1st Marquess was the father of Prince Philip's mother, Alice, Princess Andrew of Greece, and was father of Lord Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma.

Lord Ivar married firstly, in 1994, in the presence of Princess Margaret, and other royals, Penelope Anne Vere Thompson (b 1966), daughter of Colin Thompson, and Mrs Rosemary Walker.

Jack is a great-great grandson of the 2nd Earl of Leicester.
