Lovely name. Glad we didn't have to wait as long as we did with her cousin.

I had wondered if there was more to her name when we only had Alexandra Ehrengard as it seemed quite short for a royal, especially the German ones. Named for a grandmother on either end, and her mother in the middle. I do wonder if any of the names are also a secondary nod to a godmother which is traditional with the Germany houses it seems. Guess will have to wait if we get christening info (likely since we did on her cousin Leopold), and see if there are any godmothers by those names.

Prince Daniel of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (*1988), younger son of Prince Adrian of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (1955-2011) and his first wife Lea Rinderknect (*1960), and is wife Eileen Chen had their second child, Chloe, this year.

The couple also have a son, Chadwick, born 2018.

Daniel's parents' marriage was considered morganatic, so Daniel (and his children) as well as his brother Simon are not considered as dynastic members of the Ducal family.

Florence is the elder daughter of Mr & Mrs Michael Hill, of Gosberton, Lincolnshire.

Andrew Ferguson is the half-brother of Sarah, Duchess of York.
