[4 November 2011] : HH the Amir congratulates citizens, residents on Eid Al-Adha

The Amiri Diwan said Friday it was pleased to convey to fellow citizens and residents congratulations of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Eid Al-Adha, as HH wishes everyone a happy Eid.
The Diwan, in a statement, took the opportunity of the blessed occasion, to congratulate HH the Amir, HH the Crown Prince and HH the Prime Minister, as well as to citizens and residents.
 
[4 November 2011] : Kuwait, Qatari leaders exchange greetings on Eid Al-Adha

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah called Amir Of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani on Friday to congratulate him on advent of Eid Al-Adha, wishing this occasion returns on Kuwaiti and Qatari people, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations.

Sheikh Hamad thanked Sheikh Sabah for his greetings which reflected the deep-rooted relations, praising Allah that His Highness the Amir enjoys good health and that the Kuwaiti people live in prosperity and development.
 
[6 November 2011] : HH Amir, top leaders perform Eid prayers at Grand Mosque

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah performed Eid Al-Adha prayers at the Grand Mosque on Sunday.
His Highness was accompanied by HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Speaker of the National Assembly Jassem Al-Kharafi, senior Sheikhs, Deputy Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and senior state officials.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah flew Sunday to Oman on a private visit.
Deputy Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah accompanied His Highness the Amir.
HH the Amir was seen off at the airport by His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Acting Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

[8 November 2011] : HH Amir hails Saudi leadership for outstanding services for pilgrims

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has addressed a cable to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz congratulating the Monarch on successful conclusion of the Hajj rituals.
His Highness praised King Abdullah and the Saudi Government for exerting tremendous efforts, securing advanced services, communications and accommodations for the pilgrims.

HH the Amir beseeched His Almighty to bless the brotherly Kingdom and its people with further prosperity under the sagacious leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
 
[7 November 2011] : Palestinian leader congratulates Kuwaiti Amir on Eid

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a call on Monday from Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, congratulating him on Eid Al-Adha.
In his contact, Abbas wished HH the Amir good health and the Kuwaiti people more development and prosperity.
For his part, HH the Amir thanked the Palestinian leader for such good sentiments that reflect deep relations between Kuwait and Palestine.

Kuwait marks, Friday, the 49th anniversary of the issuance of its constitution, which came during the reign of Kuwait's 11th ruler, the late Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.Kuwaitis elected the Constituent Assembly in January 1962, tasked with placing a constitution that regulates authorities and freedoms in the country.

KUWAIT, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Wednesday at Bayan Palace (former) member of the (past) Constituent Assembly Abbas Habib Munawer.
 
NY MET Museum lauds Kuwait''s Sheikha Hussa Al-Sabah - 04/12/2011
Emily K. Rafferty lauded here the efforts by Director General of Kuwait's Dar Al-Athar Al-Islamiyyah (DAI) Sheikha Hussah Al-Sabah for her efforts within the cultural domain, a statement by DAI said Sunday.
The DAI statement indicated that Rafferty congratulated Sheikha Hussah on receiving honorary membership in the MET's Museum Board of trustees back in September, making her the only female member from the Middle East to join.
Sheikh Hussah would gain a chance to work with influential figures at the board, said Rafferty who wished the Kuwaiti official all the success in future endeavors.

A Kuwaiti former oil minister and senior member of the Al-Sabah ruling family, Sheikh Saud Nasser al-Sabah, has died after a long battle with cancer, said the royal court. He was 68.Sheikh Saud died late on Saturday night in a Kuwaiti hospital, the court said in a statement.
