Kuwaiti princess helps Prince of Wales in his fight
Kuwaiti princess Sheikha Fadia Al-Salem Al-Sabah known as the First Lady of Squash and a Latvian oligarch are going to help the Prince of Wales to take his war on Modernist architecture around the world.
To the dismay of his architect foes, a partnership is being launched to move the Princes vision of traditional building designs on to a global scale. It has chosen Arab countries, the Americas and Europe as targets for what it describes as its world-changing ambitions. - TimesOnline

Kuwait:The killing of Shaikh Basel Salem Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah
Kuwaiti Prince Sheikh Basel Salem Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah was shot dead allegedly by his uncle. In a brief statement on Saturday, the Kuwaiti Ruler’s Court said the country was “mourning the demise of Sheikh Basel Salem Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, who passed away at the age of 52,” without giving details of what caused his death.
However, Sheikh Basel was reportedly shot several times by an uncle on Thursday evening at his weekly meeting place while the two had an argument over cars. He was rushed to a local hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on the way. His uncle reportedly had approached him earlier to say he wanted to speak to him in private. The two left the house and shots were heard shortly after.
Medical staff confirmed the Prince had been shot multiple times at close range. Police arrested the alleged shooter inside Maseelah Palace and sent him to the General Prosecution for investigation. Crime scene investigators were also sent to the scene to carry out further investigations. The prince’s brutal death has shocked the tiny oil-rich nation of Kuwait. An investigation has been launched into the incident.—Agencies

Shiekh Faisal Abdullah Aljaber , is said to be severely depressed , but nevertheless law is law on kuwait, most probably he will be trailed and and he may face a death sentence, but I think he will just be sent to jail , because at this time the last thing Kuwait needs is more drama , and btw Sheikh basel may he rest in peace was very loved by the people as he's the grandson of Shiekh Sabah ALSalem , he was a sportsman and is very passionate about the motor sports , he was also physically handicapped . May he rest in peace.

This is the most terrible of news. My heart goes out to the family and friends as well as to the nation as a whole. To lose one's life over such a matter and in such a way is indeed truly tragic.
