Prince Philip with his family @StayHome!
"We want to say hello from our house where we have spent the last two weeks in isolation. We are sure that you know how important it is to stay at home in these days of pandemic, and show our sense of responsability for ourselves, for our loved ones and for the whole world.
Doscipline, hard work of medical teams, unity and love are our biggest strenght in these challenging times.
Take care of yourselves and #stayathome as much as you can and #savelives"

A really cute message from Danica about her mother-in-law (and a nice pic with Maria da Gloria, Philip and Stefan)
And an Easter message featuring prince Stefan (including: stay home!)

Prince Philip of Serbia interview, 2 parts.
About covid19, about his mother, different view from his father and stepmother about museum treasure which is currently "locked" in the royal palaces which Crown Princely couple don't want to give back, about the fact that almost all Karadjordjevic family members speak very bad Serbian, about his idea of coming back from London to Serbia, about the "troubled" relationship with his brothers and future plans:
https://serbiantimes.info/intervju-p...a-u-otadzbini/
https://serbiantimes.info/intervju-p...govore-srpski/
Unfortunately, this very big and interesting interview is in Serbian, but if u use google translate it gives very interesting view and puts a little bit of shadow on his stepmother(not so directly) and his view regarding spreading gossip about "strained" relationship between him and his two brothers.

I was reading the interview and I really liked it. Prince Philip of Serbia appears to be an intelligent person with an interesting outlook on all matters.
I liked the way he talked about Serbia, his family and his relatives from Brazil.
I thought it was interesting that he talked about William and Harry. Does he personally know William and Harry?

While the interviewer seemed to suggest they were 'friends', he himself used the word 'acquaintances' (at least in the translated version), so, given that his father is the queen's godson, I assume they have met but aren't close in any way.

He literally says: "Acquaintance with William and Harry gives me a greater motif to believe in significance and future of our royal dynasty and I will always try my best to keep preserving the roots and contributing to the tradition of Karadjordjevic family."
It's logical, since he lives in London and also because until 2001 Serbian royal family was living in London where they had many chances to meet somewhere, as Serbian royal couple was always invited to many British official royal gatherings and remained close to British royal family. I assume there must have been many other unofficial opportunities for them to meet.

The interviewer said "You were "hanging out" with William and Harry" and Philip answered that "acquaintance with them"...
So, I assume the same way. They know each other, but aren't close.

I hope there are no active covid-cases in that area as I would expect some infections otherwise given how close they all stand to each other.

It is nice to see Prince Fillip showing an active interest in Serbia and introducing his son to the culture of his country. I wonder if he is more likely to succeed his father as the face of the family than his older brother?

Well, it depends on many things...
First, of all sons, Filip is the only one married to a Serbian, came back to live permanently in Serbia(last month) and in a way is connected to Belgrade/Serbia...
Second, it also depends on a relationship between him and his father and stepmother. Privately, relationship has been tensed because of his stepmother who basically controls everything and his sons didn't want to live around, so they went to live abroad.
We could see this tension regarding giving back priceless artworks which belong to the National museum and are displayed in the Palace...His stepmother and her daughter refused to give them back, while Filip and his wife publicly supported the Museum claims, instead of his father's and his stepmother's claims.
Thirdly, when decided to come back to Belgrade Filip asked his (father)stepmother to let him and his wife live in a house at the Compound near the Palaces, but got the answer:"Who are you to ask for such a thing?" The house is now used by Allison Andrews, daughter of Crown Princess Katherine, who now lives there instead of any Karadjordjevic family member. When Princess Elizabeth asked to use just one room there as an office few years back, she was also denied.
Here are few articles in Serbian only. One must use google translate to be able to understand.
https://www.blic.rs/vesti/drustvo/nj...la-pet/19gqjex
https://www.blic.rs/vesti/drustvo/af...canjem/p15nl3s
https://www.blic.rs/vesti/drustvo/sk...jima-a/9lqqhp8
https://www.blic.rs/vesti/drustvo/sl...uku-ne/19yl9qc
Regarding this situation Prince Filip gave the statement to the newspapers : "Paintings you wrote about are in possession of the Republic of Serbia. Things are clear as a day: something which belongs to the dynasty should serve people, and when these paintings are concerned, they belong to the state and it's completely normal and natural for them to be displayed where the state of Serbia determines."
Apart from all this, Crown Princess wanted her children from her previous marriage, David and Allison Andrews to be adopted and become members of the Royal family with the qualification of Royal Highness.
Again, try to read using google translate:
https://www.kurir.rs/vesti/drustvo/3...ncevske-titule
One could foresee this based on their website:
https://royalfamily.org/christmas-ev...oyal-palace-3/
If you read carefully the first bolded sentence, you could see that Alison Andrews is described as "their daughter Alison", not "her daughter Alison" in the official royal website, which indicates what they are aiming for. It would be like calling Camilla's daughter Laura Lopes daughter of Prince Charles by the official royal website. And this would not happen.
Things now get a little bit more complicated as this request was denied by the Royal Council and the tensions between the sons of Crown Prince and the family of Crown Princess don't help Serbian Royal Family cause in any way.
So, while she is around nobody of the sons will officially be designated as the next Heir as this would mean that he would be put in the spotlight. Also, the one destined to be next Heir is trained to slowly gain control and automatically decides almost everything in the family and in that situation, she is slowly getting out of the spotlight and would step by step began losing control. This won't happen while she is around and while she still controls everything. :(
