I personally think that is a wonderful gift to give someone. Every day you can be reminded of it, and generations to come will be able to see it too. It's also good for the environment. :)

Thank you for the photos, Grand Duchess and Danielle. It looks like everybody had a lovely time, and I agree that a tree is a nice gift for somebody!

just starting to type here
I like the photos I see, thanks. I don't know anything about this royal family:) but just a little. I guess this family is private about their personal lives too like other families are in around the world.

This is the second thread dedicated to this Royal Family. The first thread, found here, has a little more information on the members of the Family and other events they've attended etc.

Are Princes Peter, Philip, and Alexander still in school, or have they graduated already? Any news about what they've been up to lately?

- Prince Alexander graduated from San Francisco University last year with a degree in Communications last year. Apparently he's working in the PR field.
- Prince Peter works in a graphic design firm in London.
- Prince Philip - I'm not sure what he's doing now. He was doing something in the UK but I don't know if he's still there.
Other than that, there's nothing new (that I can find) on the Princes.

Nice to see what a decent man the crownprince is! Does anybody know if he is on good terms with his ex-wife, the present duchess of Segoiva (?) . Her husband is only the 3rd son of the Duke of Medina, right? So why did he get a dukedom and is it hereditairy?

Oh that's sad. It's really nice that they're all going over there. Most ex-husbands probably wouldn't do that.

That's a good question. I'm not too sure. CP Alexander has never really said anything to suggest they're not on amicable terms, but I might be wrong. They're a fairly private family so I guess we can't really know for certain.

Many Spanish Grandees are multi-titled; it is traditional to "spin some off" to the sons, and sometimes daughters; some of the titles become hereditary and some are life-time only. If you think the British nobility is complex, have a look at the different grades and titles of the Grandees!

They told me that Emee (I don't know her name) is one of the richest women in the world and I know for sure that she is now 100! She is from Brasil. I got impression that she didn't know where she was, she is really too old, but verry beautifull. I try to send the picture but somthing is wrong.
Anyway, there where plenty of rich people, bankers and bussinessmen...
On this picture you can see Katarina Karadjordjevic, daug. of late princ Tomislav.

Hello filipastarck, and welcome to the Forum. :) Do you mean that you were actually at CP Alexander's birthday celebrations and took those photos? If you were, that's very exciting! Thank you very much for posting them.

Belgrade, August 18, 2005. – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine held a reception today in the Royal Palace at Dedinje for the organizers and participants of this year’s “Moba 2005”.
The reception was also attended by His Grace Bishop of Šabac and Valjevo Lavrentije, Mr. Kosta Pavlović - representative of “Moba” manifestation and a member of the organization committee, academician Matija Bećković, professor Dragoljub Kavran and Mr. Dušan Babac – members of the Crown Council.

I think the foundation sounds like a wonderful idea. From the sounds of it (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong), it is a foundation that aims at raising awareness about Serbia and 'uniting' the youth from various nations around the world. An excellent idea indeed!

Wow, you're very lucky.
No, I'm sorry. I don't belong to an old Serbian family. I'm not sure where I said that. I wish I did though. :)
