Interesting that she, although not being a monarch, took on the title of a "Majesty" now (I wonder if Princesses or Duchesses are expected to curtsey Margareta now?)!
I think this is quite unique and underlines this particular in-between situation of the Royal Family, acting like a monarchy (adressing parliament, receiving diplomats, handing out orders, visiting projects and communities and so on) in a country which is formally a republic....!
When I take a look at all this family´s activities and royal engagements in Romania, it occurs to me like a regular monarchy in all but name!

Princess Margareta is practically Queen in all but in a name. Only using the honorific "Her Majesty" seems befitting that situation to me.

A agree with Wartenberg 7.
We always see her in Palaces and offical places but never with people of the Street like other modern Monarchs are doing.

Uh? Princess Margareta visits schools, factories, cities, churches, theatres, universities, organizations, congresses, symposiums, television studios, official buildings, where she is greeted, welcomed and applauded by Romanians. No difference in that with other monarchs.

Indeed, and one has to say that it is now clear that the Royal Family is publicly recognized and acknowledged in the way the King wished. When she is introduced onto the floor of parliament as Her Majesty, Margareta, Custodian of the Crown, she has for every practical intent been recognized as the rightful heir of her father, both dynastically and culturally, as the one carrying the heritage of the monarchy forward. One could not ask for a more visible and clear sign of how politicians see the current situation, and that she has been given the place her father wanted her to have, in lieu of a full restoration of the monarchy.
For all intents and purposes, the establishment in Romania has made it clear that any other path for the monarchy is not on the agenda anymore, and that any obstacle to female succession and so forth, is relegated to where is belongs, history.

It is interesting to see how Princess Maria becomes more and more active in the public representation of the former Royal House.
It will be interesting to see if Princess Margareta's nieces Karina Medforth Mills or Élisabeth Biarneix will have a role in the future.

Like their cousin Nicholas, also Angelica and Michael removed from the former Royal House by their late grandfather.

Maria has been active for several years now. Far more than her older sister except for Margareta.

Whatever sins Irina has committed, her children and grandchildren are not guilty of anything.
Usually according to the law, disinheritance of one concrete person does not include his/her descendants.

Totally true. The late King was not always the nice and gentle man as he is so often portrayed. But okay, these are the facts. Princess Irina, Nicholas, Angelica and Michael have no role. Karina and Élisabeth are invisible. And so are Princess Elena and Princess Sofia as well.

Typically, in royal circles people are excluded from the line of succession with their descendants. Although mostly that is because of an unapproved marriage. This case is different but I don't think the Kreugers are interested at all in the Romanian throne, so it could even be that they were consulted by their grandfather and indicated that they would prefer to be excluded as well.
