They were no foreign Royals.

Last night, at the Elizabeta Palace, the opening of the photo exhibition of Princess Sofia took place. The theme of the personal exhibition is "Spring in Maramureș" and includes landscapes, portraits, rural settlements making up lesser known features of the tradition, harmony and nature of Maramureș.

On the evening of Tuesday, 25 October , at the Romanian Athenaeum, the 13th royal concert organized by the Royal Margareta Foundation of Romania took place, continuing the royal tradition of supporting and promoting national culture and Romanian talent.

Her Majesty Margareta and the Prince Radu, accompanied by Princess Sofia, attended the concert and visited the exhibition in the foyer of the Athenaeum, where the works of young visual artists, scholarship recipients of the "Young Talents" program, were exhibited.

It's very interesting to me how Margareta cycles through which sister is prominently active in Romania at any given time. A few years back you only saw Maria with her and Radu. Elena only once in a great while. Of course no one speaks of Irena. And for the past couple of years we see a lot of Sophie and barely anything of the other sisters. I am wondering of that's because there is a thought of making Sophie's young daughter the eventual "heir'.

That is absolutely not an option, for reasons that are not public.

Margareta is between a rock and a hard place if she wants the Royal House to continue into the next generation: there is only one choice, but she is not inclined to take it.

I agree. That will never happen.

Again, I agree. There is only one viable option going forward if Margareta wants her father's legacy to continue and the sooner she does something about it the better.

Today 5 December , at the Patriarchal Palace in the Capital, Patriarch Daniel conferred on Her Majesty Margareta and Prince Radu the Order of Our Lady of Prayer, created by the Romanian Orthodox Church this year.

The same order was conferred by the Primate of the National Orthodox Church on Princess Sofia and Princess Maria.

How lovely to see 4 of the 5 sisters together. I wonder how often they are in touch with their middle sister.
