Nicholas Michael de Roumanie-Medforth-Mills is the grandson of King Mihai I and Queen Anne of Romania. He is the son of their daughter, Princess Elena, and her first husband, Robin Medforth-Mills. I'm not sure that there are any pictures of Nicholas.

Nicholas and his sister use the surname de Roumanie. They are grandchildren of the exiled King Michael, but they have no dynastic rights as women cannot succeed.

Printul Nicolae: “Sint pregatit sa fiu Regele Romaniei”

This is an article about Nicholas Medforth-Mills. He's a very handsome young man, I must say. Can anyone translate it? I tried using some free translator, but it kind of sucked. From the bits I picked out, it sounded really interesting, though.

Thank you for the link!
It was his first interview; he spoke about his childhood, studies and present occupation.
He had a normal childhood and he think he resembles best his paternal grandmother who was very vivacious, loved the sport and the outdoor activities. He participates at many expeditions especially in Africa and takes part in projects that encourages and teaches young people to outdoor sports.
He doesn't really interact with other royal, he only met Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth. He takes Charles as a role model because of his struggle for nature and environment. He would like to initiate similar projects in Romania, too as well as projects for young people.
He was impressed by the beauties and people of Romania; his first visit has marked him very much when about 1 million people celebrated the return of his grandfather in Romania. If the Romanian people want him as their king, he will gladly accept their invitation.
He speaks about his grandfather's character and his role in Romanian history.
In his free time he enjoys himself as his fellow British young men do.
I doubt that he'll ever be king, but it would be nice if he will be envolved more in projects in Romania and will try to help his grandfather's former subjects!
Thanks again for the link!

I congratulate him on his elevation to the rank of HRH. May he bring distinction to the nation as a whole as well.

Prince Nicolae (Nicholas) is trying now to improve his Romanian.Princess Elena speaks a very poor Romanian and her husband doesn't speak it at all.
Prince Nicolae has a quite nice sense of humour, he is very interested in the defence of the enviroment and is very close the the youth problems. Beginning in June the Prince will begin to have a more official program in Romania under the supervision of his aunt Princess Margareta.
A wonderful photo of Prince Nicolae with King Mihai I and Elisabeta Karina of Romania (Prince Nicolae's sister):

It might not be nice what I'm going to say, but all Mihail and Anna's descendants I have seen don't really look royal. Did somebody have the same feeling? Why that? Mihail and Anna were such a well connected and royal couple, back in 50s at least.

No, Karina is not a Princess of Romania; of all his grandchildren, the King accorded the title and style of HRH Prince of Romania only to Nicholas. Like all her maternal cousins, she is part of the Royal House of Romania, but not of the Royal Family.

Elisabeth Karina is a daughter of a Princess not an actress.
Tomorrow in the evening HRH Prince Nicolae will receive the "Nihil sine Deo " medal from HM King Mihai I and there will be a party at Elisabeta Palace in honour of the Prince.
On the 14th of june in the morning HM King Mihai I and the Royal Family will be at Targoviste as guests of the orthodox Archbishop of the area.
On the 15th of June HM Kinh Mihai I, HM Queen Ana, HRH Princess Margareta and HRH Prince Nicolae will assist at a concert of the Royal Camerata at the National University of Music.
Between the 16th-20th of June HRH Prince Nicolae will be in a tour in different regions of the country (Sinaia, Alba Iulia, Cluj Napoca, Targu Mures,Brasov).During this tour HRH Prince Nicolae will give different interviews to the press.
HRH Prince Nicolae will officially begin his role as Prince of Romania :
Familia Regala - Activitati curente
Around 20% of the population is in favour of the Restoration of the Constitutional Monarchy but people are very divided concerning the husband of Princess Margareta.
The majority of the romanians respect the king but don't understand why Prince Nicolae does not speak Romanian.

Well, at this point I'd say to wait and give him the time of learning it; I mean, he is only 25 now, he spent his childhood in England, and he isn't expected to take a first-rate role now or soon. He'll be the Head of the Royal Family, but hopefully it will happen in 20 or more years. Nicholas has all the time for learning the job of Prince and/or hopefully King.

Prince Nicolae is expected to take a very important role. The Romanians will never accept a Queen as Head of State. Everybody will want him to be King but that lack of knowledge of the Romanian language could bring him a very big unpopularity.
