Modern trains are much quieter and faster although faster may not be important for a Royal train. I am sure the Romanian government has more pressing issues than replacing this train, especially in light of its historical significance.

I can't understand what bad is there that it is officially informed that prince Nicolae will attend at the wedding. The message is respectful and tells about the good relationship between the royal families of Belgium and Romania.

Indeed. Radu Duda also mentioned that King Carol I of Romania was related to the Belgian royal family via his sister Princess Marie of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen. She would marry Prince Philippe of Belgium, Count of Flanders.

I think he would make both a good King and a good representative for the Romanian people. Everything I read about him seems to indicate that, like his aunt, he connects with the people.
