Nicolae continued his visit in Alba Iulia on Tuesday.
Former Prince Nicolae of Romania, visiting the "Avram Iancu" Secondary School in Alba Iulia
Former Prince Nicolae of Romania participated on Tuesday, June 12, at a series of artistic events organized by the "Avram Iancu" Secondary School in Alba Iulia. Vernissage of royal-theme exhibition, popular songs and dances in Romanian and English, were presented by the students of the school. A noticeable moment for the former prince was the reception of a portrait of King Mihai, made by a young artist of the school.
King Mihai's grandson was warmly welcomed and got many smiles by the students of the school.
Nicolae listened to and applauded for those who attended the "Friendship" Choir of the V-VIII Class. The moment was followed by popular dances performed by the whole school.
Receiving the portrait of his grandfather was an exciting moment for Nicolae, he was pleasantly surprised by the talent the young artist and asked the student to send him a painting portfolio for a possible collaboration with his friend, art collector.
The event continued with an exhibition of works by students on "The Royal House in the vision of the children" and a book presentation by Maria Ileana, currently a high school graduate, who made her literary debut as a pupil of "Avram Iancu" School.
The winners of the contest "A King, a Queen" organized by ANRM, who were awarded by the Royal House at a celebration held in Bucharest in 2014, were pupils who proudly represented the "Avram Iancu" School at this festivity.
After the artistic moment, Nicolae visited part of the study classes, where he interacted with the students and took group pictures.
The exciting moment of the study visit was when a fifth-grade student asked the former prince when will he be king, the latter responded that this, to be possible, is related to many things, and especially to the desire of the society.
The visit ended with an autograph session by Nicolae on the tabs of the "Road to Home" book and the signing of the guest book of the school.
In the press interview Nicolae said that the religious ceremony of her wedding will take place in Sinaia on September 30, and regarding the letter sent to Princess Margareta and her husband, Prince Radu for them being godparents at the wedding, he hopes there will be one positive answer from the two.
As for the guests, the list now contains 250 names, but it is likely to grow and are invited from over 13 countries in Europe, but also from Australia and America.
As the last thoughts in the interview, the former prince urged that in the Centenary Year of Romania, the citizens of the country will be more united because only united România can prosper.
