Nicolae, the grandson of king Mihai, comes to Ziua Voluntarilor Mici (Small Volunteers' Day)
- We are very happy that prince Nicolae, the grandson of his Majesty King Mihai, together with his wife Alina Maria Binder, will take part in this action in our country together with the volunteers on 14th April, says Tăşuleasa Social Association.

They will collect the plastic waste collected by 23000 pupils during the Easter Holidays.

Saturday was a very good one for small volunteers in Sânmihaiu de Câmpie. After cleaning the villages' streets of all PETs and knocking at the gates of all locals to collect as much plastic waste as possible, they had the opportunity to meet Nicolae de Romania, the grandson of king Mihai I, volunteer of the Tășuleasa Social Association, who gave them a helping hand to load the truck that came to transport the trashes away.
At 8.30 am, Nicolae de Romania, who has for ten years volunteered for Tășuleasa Social, arrived with his wife Alina Binder. The two of them were welcomed by the mayor, the school representatives and some members of the Clubul Monarhiștilor Bistrițeni.
Nicolae said: "It's good that Tășuleasa is here to teach children about the importance of recycling and why we have to do that. We haven't been here doing afforestation, but I have been during ten years in several places with Tășuleasa. I think Tășuleasa does very good things for the country. Being volunteer means giving your time and giving to others: children, the community, giving something back wherever you are. I volunteer from my heart because I feel good when I'm doing this and it is very important for me to see people smiling".
Alina added: "Being a volunteer gives you incredible satisfaction. It is great to see the happy kids, see that you are giving something back. You get smiles".
In the end of the action, Nicolae gave the children a diploma from the Tășuleasa Social Association and congratulated them for their involvement:
"You have collected a bunch of plastic, and that's a good thing. I'm glad to hear it wasn't difficult. Congratulations and best of luck!"

The grandson of King Mihai I visited today the little volunteers in Bistriţa Năsăud. Nicolae Medforth Mills and his wife, Alina Binder, helped to transport hundreds of PET bags, collected by children from Sinmihaiu de Câmpie. As a volunteer for 10 years in an association, Nicolae talked about ecology, but also about the wedding that will take place this year.

At the conference he was interviewed and asked about the wedding:

New revelations about the wedding of the year in Romania. Former Prince Nicholas will marry religiously with his wife, Alina Binder, in September. And at the wedding, King Michael's grandson will invite the entire Royal Family of Romania. He does not yet have the confirmation of participation. But there are also blue-blooded guests from other royal families in the world.
Nicholas Medforth Mills, grandson of King Michael and his wife, Alina Maria Binder, will organize the wedding party at the Cazinoul Sinaia. So, sources claim for TVR, although no official announcement has yet been made. For the September ceremonies, the preparations are in full swing. And the two spouses, who last year married civilly in the UK, are extremely excited.
Even if he has a good relationship with his sister, Nicholas does not have the confirmation that the Royal Family will attend the religious ceremony.

On 5 May I had the pleasure of participating, along with Alina-Maria de Roumanie, at an international conference organized by the Grandes Conferences Catholiques at the Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels - "Air, Earth and Water - Essential Essences of the Century" in the presence of Prince Albert II of Monaco, Professor Jean-Pascal van Ypersele and Professor Olivier de Schutter.
On May 5, I attended a Dinner at the Egmont Palace, house of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of Foreign Minister Didier Reynders, Prince Albert II of Monaco and members of several royal families in Europe.
On May 6, I attended a Brunch in the Van Buuren Museum Gardens.

Prince Nicolae comes to Pecica on May 10th, his wife Alina will accompany him
Prince Nicolae attends with his wife Alina the events dedicated to the Independence Day and the King's Day.
The Association "King Mihai's Friends", the Pecica Branch, with the support of Pecica City Hall and the Local Council, mark each year the Independence Day and the King's Day on May 10 with a show where take part not only monarchists from the city but from the whole county.
The local organizer, local councilor dr. Vasile Chifor invited Prince Nicolae of Romania to the event and his Royal Highness accepted and comes to Pecica with his wife, Alina.
The Prince couple arrives on Thursday morning and will make around 11 o'clock a tour of several places (City Hall, Educational Units, Bakery, Bivoli Farm).
His Royal Highness Prince Nicolae of Romania and his wife, Alina, will attend the program at the "Doru Ioan Petescu" House of Culture from 19:00, which will include an old music show presented by the State Philharmonic Arad and soprano Nicoleta Brola.

He's no longer Prince Nicolae of Romania and has not been since 2015,maybe it was a typo?
