Nicolae and Alina-Maria attended at the celebration of name day of Patriarch Daniel, the leader of the Romanian Orthodox Church.
On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, the Patriarch of Romania celebrated his name day in liturgical communion with the members of the Holy Synod who congratulated him at the end of the official service in the Patriarchal Cathedral.
Metropolitan Andrei of Cluj, Maramureș and Sătmarului officiated a Te Deum at the end of the Holy Liturgy as a sign of gratitude to God for the protection and help given to the Patriarch in the service of the Romanian Orthodox Church.
After the service of Te Deum, in the Christiana Europe Hall, in the Patriarchate Palace, greetings of the authorities were presented, and the Patriarch received a group of caretakers from the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" High School in Bucharest.

Nicolae was a guest at “Ascultă vocile de azi“ (Listen to the Voices of Today) at Radio Romania, it was aired today at 17.00.
Nicholas Michael de Roumanie Medforth-Mills (born April 1, 1985, Meyrin, Switzerland) is the eldest grandson of the former King Mihai I of Romania.
At the age of 25 (April 1, 2010), Nicolae received the title of Prince of Romania, with the rank and name of Royal Highness. In the following years he learned the Romanian language and participated in public activities of his family and was involved in charitable activities.
Through a document signed on August 1, 2015 and entered into force immediately the title and qualification were withdrawn and he was excluded from the line of succession to the Romanian throne.
Born and raised abroad, he came to Romania for the first time in 1992, on the occasion of his grandfather's first visit after the beginning of exile in 1948.
At Ascultă Vocile de Azi today, he widely narrates his impressions and memories of this memorable visit and also evokes the figure of his grandfather, King Mihai, from the perspective of his grandson, the stories with kings, queens, princes and princesses he heard in childhood, related to his family seemed more like fairy tales from books.
The meeting with Romania was going to be a decisive one, however, as his relationship with the country became more and more stronger, now that, for him, Romania was "home", although he lived in several countries.

Prince Nicolae helps in the distribution of gifts from Germany
In Bistrița-Năsăud, through the Tășuleasa Social Association, 20 trucks loaded with Christmas presents were sent by children from Germany, but only nine remained to share gifts in the county, the others being sent to Mehedinți, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava and in Cluj County, areas where the Tășuleasa Social Association has projects, of which the most important is Via Transilvanica.
"This year we celebrate 18 years of the Christmas Truck. There are almost 26,000 gifts collected this time from children in Germany, and today we will reach about 22,000 children, which means it is an extraordinarily complex action. Because we also run Via Transilvanica, we go from one end to the other, that is, we also have a truck for Putna, one for Mehedinti. There are 20 trucks that are heading for 22,000 children", said Alin Ușeriu.
Hundreds of volunteers also came this year to help distribute packages, including Prince Nicolae and his wife Alina, volunteers from the Tășuleasa Social Association, but who are for the first time at the "Christmas Truck", happy to be able to do so beautiful holidays for children on Route 4, Budacului Valley.

On Friday Romanian TVR1 showed the last episode of the second season of TV-serie "Romānia Veritabilă" (Genuine Romania). Nicolae was interviewed at this episode at vineyard Galicea Mare, at 14.47.

Prince Nicolae visited the students from Serdanu (Lungulețu)
Today, January 22, 2020, Prince Nicolae and his wife Alina Maria were in Dāmbovița county, in Lungulețu, on a historic visit to the locality. The prince was invited by the priestess Georgiana Olteanu to present to the children enrolled in the Serdanu School objects and other materials that belonged to the Royal House, respectively to the parents and grandparents of the Prince.
