Oh, the famous, mysterious and complex Romanian relities, unintelligible to most, that you always mention but which have never been specified.
Please, could you once for all explain us what exactly are those "Romanian realities" and who on earth - apart from you - could be able to understand them?

Romania has a very complex reality that somebody that lives abroad can hardly understand. It is a country with regions with strong identity and different history, the Romanians are very proud of their language and of their cultural heritage. Somebody that does not speak properly Romanian but pretends to be Romanian is hardly fully accepted by the people.
The communist "heritage" is still strong and politics is dominated by post-communist. Corruption is very present in the society at all levels.
Princesses that came after 1989 obviously tried their best to understand the reality if the country but it is not easy and many believed they trust the advisers chosen for them.

So we can rule out foreign born Nicholas then, who is still learning proper Romanian. The same counts for the German speaking Hohenzollerns. Seen in this optic theate King's nephew and his line deserve support from "the royalists",.

Which nephew? The one that was born in Paris, struggles to speak the language, and is facing corruption charges? Or the one that was born in Dorset, and does not speak the language at all, and has lived in the United States for most of his life?

Crown Princess Margarita, Princess Marie, and Prince Nicholas are all eminently qualified; their grasp of Romanian far surpasses the linguistic abilities of any of the other members of their family.

The Hohenzollerns do not pretend they speak Romanian.
From all the descendants of the King, Nicholas de Roumanie Medforth Mills speaks the best Romanian.

Better Romanian than his mother and his four aunts?

Princess Margareta speaks Romanian better than her sisters but Nicholas de Roumanie Medforth Mills has improved his knowledge of the language faster.

Margareta, as soon as she could, moved to Romania and has been living permanently there for nearly 30 years. I think it's very evident that she has done the possible to integrate herself in Romania, and I also believe she should be given credit for this.
In addition, she is married to a man who - one may like him or not - is definitely Romanian and the most Romanian of the whole Royal Family; I'd guess that he has some good chance to understand the Romanian situations and realisies, and probably is also able to give Margarets some help in understanding them too (if she needed it, of course).

It is a Romance (i.e. neo-Latin) language, albeit with lots of Slavic words and a somewhat idiosyncratic grammar. It shouldn't be particularly difficult to learn though in a reasonable amount of time.

If somebody hasn't learnt it well in more than 25 years it will be difficult to learn it better in the future. It is certainly a complex language.

Officers from the Armed Forces of a republican state making an official visit to a former royal family. In daily practice Romania has a ceremonial monarchy embedded in a republic. It works well, so to see.

If I was an adviser to Princess Margareta, I would stay away from such superficial qualifications "awarded" by magazines.

Wonderful to see. It remains mindboggling to see something like this in a republic.

Indeed, one can not help but wonder how the Royal Houses of Greece, Bulgaria, France and Italy regard the way in which the deposed House of Romania is treated so respectfully and given meaningful and dignified tasks to fulfill, in a country that still remains a republic, if no longer in name officio, in practice nonetheless, while they are relegated to a very low-profile status and no prospects of that changing on the horizon.

H.M the Custodian is truly doing a great job representing the dynasty following the passing of her father, and certainly commands a growing amount of attention and respect across the nation.
