Today, Her Majesty Margareta, and Prince Radu received Presidential Adviser Laurentiu Stefan and Mrs. Georgeta Bratu at the Elisabeta Palace. During the latest episode of 'Ora Regelui' on Romanian TV, H.M Margareta gave a speech in English about Romania while visiting Madrid, Spain. She talked about the 5 generations of the Royal Family since their arrival from Germany in the mid-19th century and their work, both past, present and into the future. She gave some interesting insights into the current situation of the monarchy in Romania, and she described the constitutional arrangements of the country today, as a 'functional monarchy in a constitutional republic'.
She made some very astute observations about her own role following her fathers passing, and her speech can be seen from ca. 16:12 in the link above.

I don't think Princess Margareta will attend her Uncle Prince Michel de Bourbon Parme Funerals. He did not attend Queen Anne's Funerals.

Queen Anne and Prince Michel, and subsequently their spouses and offspring, were not particularly close in the last several decades of the lives of the siblings. This was due to a number of reasons, all private. Can she be a Majesty without being a Monarch?
Is she not a Princess anymore and is custodian of the crown a title?

It comes from the Fundamental Rules of the Royal House of Romania:
Article 1 - second lemma:
[....] Immediately upon the death of the Head of the Royal House of Romania, without further proclamation, the Heir Apparent or Heir Presumptive, whichever shall be living and first in the line to the succession at that moment in time, shall from that moment assume the rank or style King or Queen, regardless of the Family's position as a reigning or non-reigning Dynasty and regardless of the fact that they may or may not later choose against the use of such style or designation.

What we see is that in the Republic of Romania there is a functional Royal House. But there is no Queen, as there is no kingdom. So by accident the chosen style in the Fundamental Rules of the Royal House fits quite well with the current situation. By birth Margareta is a Princess of Romania, Princess of Hohenzollern. As the current Custodian of the Crown she apparently does not use the titles which are hers by birthright.
