Is HRH Princess Elena accompagnied by her daughter Karina these days in Switzerland?

Princess Elena and her husband Alexander Philips Nixon attended on Saturday at Pelisor Castle in Sinaia at the opening of the exhibition "Arhitectură și regalitate 1866 – 1881 – 2016" (Architecture and royalty 1866 – 1881 – 2016), which is part of the celebrations of the Royal Family 150 years. The exhibition comprises three sections, namely the Architecture of Romanian kings and queens, the Representative architecture in Romania influenced by royalty and monarchs, and the Exhibition of royal exhibitions.

Princess Marie has been in Moldova this week on a three-day visit:

Principesa Maria, vizită în Republica Moldova, 17-19 mai 2016 | Familia Regală a României / Royal Family of Romania

The first day on Tuesday was spent at the Academy of Economic Studies and the School of Fine Arts in Chisinau.

The next day, Princess Maria was in Ialoveni, where she laid a wreath at the monument for those who died in the War of Independence, and afterward went to a kindergarten for children with neuro-psycho-motor difficulties and watched a performance by the children.

Later, the princess visited the huge Milestii Mici. winery where over 50km of underground galleries store all the wine!

Finally, yesterday being her last day, Princess Marie went to a couple of monasteries in the village of Butuceni.

Two events recently for Princess Maria:

Last weekend, she attended a charity concert at the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, that was performed by the World Doctors Orchestra in aid of raising funds to set up a national network of telemedicine for epilepsy.

The orchestra performed two other events in Cluj-Napoca and Brasov.

I think Princess Maria looked stunning in her evening outfit:

Then today, Princess Maria celebrated Children's Day in Bucharest by visiting the Ferdinand I Secondary School. The children put on a play for her, then later on she watched a sports competition, with the winners receiving a prize each.

Any comments of Princess Elena, Miss Karina Medforth Mills or of Princess Sofia about what's going on in Bucharest?

When Princess Irina was born in 1953, in Lausanne, as daughter of the former King of Romania, with which surname and titles was she registered in the Helvetian Republic (Switzerland)? Was she registered as I.K.H. Irina Prinzessin von Rümanien, Prinzessin von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen / S.A.R. la princesse Irina de Roumanie, princesse de Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen in her Swiss passport?

When King Michael scrapped Princess Irina from the line of succession, without any decree, without any verifiable document, I assume she kept her name, surname and titles with which she was officially registered? After all former King Michael has no any authority in no any civil registry in no any country, not even Romania.

As daughter of King Michael of Romania, Prince of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen and of Princess Anne de Bourbon de Parme, we may assume their daughters Margareta, Elena, Irina, Maria and Sofia all have the titles "Princess of Romania, Princess of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen" in their official registration.

When King Michael decided to cut off the ties with his own paternal and ancestral House, the title Prince (Princess) of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen is no longer used.

But if Michael, Margareta, Elena, Irina, Maria and Sofia are registered in the civil registry with their formal titulature, then it is not possible to change this because of a daily whim. A father can not change the surname of his adult children because he has got a bad idea in his mind. This means that six requests must have been made to change it in the civil registries. If this was not done, then all five are still Princes (Princesses) von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen anyway.

Such a decision (I do not know who saw a document about it anyway) has no consequence from a legal point of view. She certainly has the same surname. She could be still considered probably a Princess of Hohenzollern.

What is the point of all this? That title (in pretension) and legal surname should necessarily coincide, so a title (in pretension) cannot change if to its change doesn't corrispond an equal change of the legal surname?
As far as I know it doesn't exactly work this way, especially when the title is not legally recognized.
Following this logic, as an example, should the man who was born as Hans Georg Robert Lichtenberg and who at a point, by adoption, had his name and surname officially changed as Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt be considered on all accounts a dynast of the Ducal House of Anhalt?

Here is an example of how one of the daughters of King Michael manages the situation for herself - she uses two names/titles:

About Sophie de Roumanie

Certainly the closest sister to Princess Margareta is Princess Maria, who lives now at Elisabeta Palace and becomes more and more involved in the life of the country. If she marries again and this time a Romanian that could certainly influence the perception of the public about the King's Family.

It would be nice if we had moved into a time where a woman, a royal Princess, was respected in her own right, without having to marry, to attain the approval or elevated respect of some.

It is certainly very important to any woman to have the right to marry the man she genuinely love.

Princess Maria is, and should be, free to be with or without whomever she likes. She is well respected for the job she does, to those that know her, and hopefully, her profile will continue to be raised with the increased workload that is bound to come her way in the future.

I absolutely wish her to marry (if she will) for love and that her marriage bring her happiness.

You have said that now 7 times. Maybe we can conclude the spam and allow her to be unmarried, just as valuable single and not needing a partner for happiness, unless she wants one herself.

We have to pray for the happiness of all the Princesses.
Maybe one day Princess Sofia's daughter and Princess Irina's grandchildren will be able to visit or even live in the country too.

Flux 24 speaks about a supposed relationship between Princess Maria and Dr. Dan Duda, Princess Margaret's brother in law. Such a marriage would not probably be accepted by the Orthodox Church :

EXCLUSIV/ Love story ȘOC la Casa Regală: Fratele lui Radu Duda și sora Principesei Margareta/ Căsătoria celor doi este CONTRARĂ CANOANELOR Bisericii Ortodoxe

Why would the marriage not be accepted by the orthodox Church? Because the Princess is divorced?

Because her sister and his brother are married and there will be a spiritual bond. Traditionally in the Orthodix Church two brothers can marry two daughters only in the same times but dispensations could be found.
This relationship is anyway not confirmed by the family for the moment.

Is not Flux24 more of a gossip site?

It cannot be denied that Princess Maria and Dan Duda know one another.

However, if they are in a relationship and plan to marry, that would have to be one of the best kept secrets in some time.
