The Princesses Elena, Irina, Sofia and Maria as well their children, apart from Nicholas, are almost invisible. I can not see how these people, with such very low key public profile and awareness can ever become a visible and wellknown chef of the House... Besides the original line of succession only Nicholas was a credible successor.

A possibility: Alexander, the Hereditary Prince von Hohenzollern, marrying Elisabeta-Karina de Roumanie Medforth-Mills (sister of Nicholas).

Doubt Alexander would be interested in Karina--and vice versa. The latter is a private British citizen and would be unlikely to wish to play a role in all of this. It would be more beneficial for Michael or Margarita to reinstate Nicholas, and then have Nicholas of Romania wed Philippa of Hohenzollern.

A wedding of HRH Prince Nicholas of Romania, son of a Princess von Hohenzollern with HRH Princess Philippa von Hohenzollern (or her sisters) would have been a perfect scenario.

But first removing Nicholas from the line of succession, revoking his title and style, let him marry with Princess Philippa, return to the line of succession, reïnstating in his titles... really, that would become the ultimate vaudeville.

Ultimate vaudeville yes but still nothing against the soap operaesque life of King Carol II. His and the life of his siblings and parents sometimes put even the Borgias to shame.

Wonderful to see Princess Maria out and about. Is she sporting a little tattoo on her pulse?

Maria is nowadays more visible than the crown princess.

Imagine if she had not returned to the country and Maria. It was basically just Radu. What sad. Let be well is the girl returned.

I see what you mean and I agree. How can be the future of the monarchy in Romania when Margarita and Maria who live in the country and representing not have children. After what happened with Nicolae takes time to any major decision taken by the two young girls. But perhaps the Elena and Sofia could participate more actively in the monarchy issue now.

No this is impossible. Adopted children do not have rights to the throne. And I think that applies to all monarchies.

It does not really make sense that Princess Maria is more visible than the rest. If we follow the "michaelist line of succession", her sister Princess Elena, her niece Karina Medforth-Mills, her sister Princess Sofia and her niece Elisabeth Biarneix are all before her in the line of succession. Princess Maria herself has no children. So it is nice that Princess Maria has stepped up her visibility but it should be Elena and Karina, or Sofia and Elisabeth, to do so. Thát makes more sense.

That would solve a lot of issues
just out of interest: if she would get married and they adopted a child...would that child then be eligable to be in the line of succession of the Romanian RF?

That solves nothing because that child will still be only Number Seven in the "michaelist line of succession":

1 Princess Margarita of Romania (daughter of King Michael of Romania and of Princess Anne de Bourbon de Parme)

2 Princess Elena of Romania (daughter of King Michael of Romania and of Princess Anne de Bourbon de Parme)

- Nicholas Medforth-Mills (son of Robin Medforth-Mills and of Princess Elena of Romania)

3 Karina Medforth-Mills (daughter of Robin Medforth-Mills and of Princess Elena of Romania)

- Irina Walker née Princess of Romania (daughter of King Michael of Romania and of Princess Anne de Bourbon de Parme)

- Michael Kreuger (son of John Kreuger and of Princess Irina of Romania)

- Kohen Kreuger (son of Michael Kreuger and of Tara Littlefield)

- Angelica Knight née Kreuger (daughter of John Kreuger and of Princess Irina of Romania)

- Courtney Knight (daughter of Richard Knight and of Angelica Kreuger)

- Diana Knight (daughter of Richard Knight and of Angelica Kreuger)

4 Princess Sofia of Romania (daughter of King Michael of Romania and of Princess Anne de Bourbon de Parme)

5 Elisabeth Biarneix (daughter of Alain Biarneix and of Princess Sofia of Romania)

6 Princess Maria of Romania (daughter of King Michael of Romania and of Princess Anne de Bourbon de Parme)

The line of succession according to the last Constitution of the Kingdom of Romania:

1 Prince Karl Friedrich, Fürst von Hohenzollern (son of Prince Friedrich Wilhelm, Fürst von Hohenzollern and of Princess Margarita von Leiningen)

2 Prince Alexander, Erbprinz von Hohenzollern (son of Prince Karl Friedrich, Fürst von Hohenzollern and of Alexandra Schenk Gräfin von Stauffenberg)

- Princess Philippa von Hohenzollern (daughter of Prince Karl Friedrich, Fürst von Hohenzollern and of Alexandra Schenk Gräfin von Stauffenberg)

- Princess Flaminia von Hohenzollern (daughter of Prince Karl Friedrich, Fürst von Hohenzollern and of Alexandra Schenk Gräfin von Stauffenberg)

- Princess Antonia von Hohenzollern (daughter of Prince Karl Friedrich, Fürst von Hohenzollern and of Alexandra Schenk Gräfin von Stauffenberg)

3 Prince Albrecht von Hohenzollern (son of Prince Friedrich Wilhelm, Fürst von Hohenzollern and of Princess Margarita von Leiningen)

- Princess Joséphine von Hohenzollern (daughter of Prince Albrecht von Hohenzollern and of Nathalie Olivia Rocabado de Viets)

- Princess Eugenia von Hohenzollern (daughter of Prince Albrecht von Hohenzollern and of Nathalie Oliva Rocabado de Viets)

4 Prince Ferdinand von Hohenzollern (son of Prince Friedrich Wilhelm, Fürst von Hohenzollern and of Princess Margarita von Leiningen)

5 Prince Aloys von Hohenzollern (son of Prince Ferdinand von Hohenzollern and of Ilona Gräfin Kálnoky von Köröspatak)

6 Prince Fidelis von Hohenzollern (son of Prince Ferdinand von Hohenzollern and of Ilona Gräfin Kálnoky von Köröspatak)

- Princess Viktoria von Hohenzollern (daughter of Prince Ferdinand von Hohenzollern and of Ilona Gräfin Kálnoky von Köröspatak)

7 Prince Johann Georg von Hohenzollern (son of Prince Friedrich, Fürst von Hohenzollern and of Princess Margarete von Sachsen)

8 Prince Carl-Christian von Hohenzollern (son of Prince Johann Georg von Hohenzollern and of Princess Birgitta of Sweden)

Etc. Etc.
